Ladies at front desk are patient and helpful. This is where you go to sign up to volunter, as well as other services.
We stopped by since we were downtown; we got 1.5 hrs free parking while inside goodwill. The place looks clean and looked like new floors. Everything was in ts place but not a lot to choose from; the prices a bit high just like every other thrift store. It was a short visit since it was not a big store.
The CNA training was excellent! Ms. Ida & Ms. Sarah were extremely helpful. It was wonderful to have Ms Ida teach, she's a great instuctor who truly cares about us as students & the patients. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get into health careers. Remember you get what you put into it. Stay focused & postive to earn your goals. Thank you everyone for helping me get closer to my dreams. Update: 2 years later I was honored by Ms. Ida Jackson pinning me at my lvn graduation at another healthcare school. Thank you Goodwill Academy for giving me the good start to living & accomplishing my dreams.
Where can we get I contact with them.. the number on here is not updated. Spoke with someone who visits the halfway houses and he won’t answer my questions or calls.
Don't do their CDL program if you are a woman, they will set you up for failure. The instructors were incredibly hostile and emphasized that I had no business being in a man's world. I was quite surprised by their attitude since there have been women who graduated from here in the past. Luckily I got what I needed out of the class to go borrow a truck and pass the test on my own at the DMV on the first try. Suck it, Brandon.
Good
