Y'all please watch their meats. This is not the first time I have ran into an issue with their meat. They're changing dates. Selling bad meat. I bought these wings just for clarification about them. I went back in and ask why the sell by date read "11/24. Keep in mind this is Feb. We know good and damn well chicken will not last longer than 3-4 days refrigerated. I proceeded too ask about the date. The girl said that meant if you freeze them you should use them by this date. Sell by & use by! Two different meanings in the food world. KEEP YOUR EYES & NOSE CLEAR FOR ANY MEATS YOU BUY HERE!
Fresh and always a great price. Way better than your average commercial grocery store.
Great meat, even cut me some filets wrapped in bacon, great prices
Good food but prices aren't as marked and they have a sign at the register prices subject to change without notice to cover the change when you check out. They also charge to cover credit card fees and also tax on the food when food isn't supposed to be taxed. Houstons on main street is a better option, better prices, better deals, and don't charge you taxes on the food.
Buyers Beware.... they have a sign up saying there is a 3% up-charge if you use your debit... which i believe to be illegal... i'm still looking into that... but that's not the kicker...whether you use card or cash... they up- charge every item that you purchase anyway... so you're paying that 3% if you pay cash or not... just watch when you go in there next time...
We make the trek for the selection of meats vs what we have to choose from here in Starke.Harolds will always be our place for our meats.Great selection of veggies and fruits as well.Great all around place to shop at.
