Went right before 4th of july the carrots and greens i got were covered in black mold that i didnt notice due to the packaging untill i got home. The rest of my food was fine and they do charge 3% per item if u use a card so bring cash and your golden.
I have been coming here for over 50 years let that sink in. I started as a small child in kindergarten my parents knew the best place to buy Meats at a good price but at that time I was more interested in getting a candy necklace from the candy section which is still in the exact same spot it was in my day is a small child. A great place to get meats. You can go to Publix and get something on sale but I almost guarantee that the regular everyday price here at Harold's would be better. They also have an excellent selection of fresh produce and General Store type things. It's much more convenient nine times out of 10 then going down to Publix.
Meat looks so clean and fresh, several homemade cakes for $22.00, German Choc, Italian Creme, Red Velvet...pies too. The tenderest, most juicy ham I've ever had.
Picked up cube steak for dinner at Harold’s Meat Market it cooked fast and had tender with a lot of flavor. Easy week night option that made dinner feel homemade without spending a lot of money.
Very accommodating. Brought in a 15lb piece of fresh beef. Was able to get it grinned and cubed. Definitely a time and money saver.
This is the meat market to go to. Prices they have beat out major food stores with fresh produce and meats. It doesn't have everything, but what it does have is really good.
A longstanding Northwest Jacksonville staple for outstanding meats at a good price. I have shopped here since 2001. No holiday season would be complete without meats from Harolds’s Meat Market. The owner/manager continues to demand the best food products from vendors and suppliers. Fresh produce and deliciously prepped foods compliment any table; personal tips for cooking can be your secret.
I have know it was there for years and never stopped. Finally did, omgosh, I was so impressed with, the meat, frozen vegetables the service. I am now a regular customer.
The meat is always fresh & the prices are wonderful
Very good prices. Great service. Great selection of meats and produce. Quality of food is on the level of "Fresh Field Farms". They also use local and organic venders. Definitely worth the trip. Best kept secret on the north side for budget conscience consumers.
