Awesome for outdoor dining or drinks, right next to the historic Independence Hall square... There are quite a few seats that are covered in case of rain. Fun spot for larger groups to gather around big bench tables or smaller parties to enjoy lawn chairs. The drink and food selection has something for everyone. Prices are average for the city. Great service. You can order from an app on your phone! 📱🥨🍻
We had a great visit here! I wouldn’t come here for the food by any means but the atmosphere and service were both great!! Highly recommend!
The food here was good, but the service was non-existent and terrible. When I first showed up, I asked one of the employees if we had to be seared, and we were told that we could pick any spot we wanted - so we did. Ten minutes later, no one stops by, so I walk up to the bar where there's at least five employees just hanging out and talking and I ask if I can place my order there, and they told me no, they need to come to the table to take my order and that someone will be by shortly. Nothing again for another 15 minutes. Back to the bar I go asking what's going on, and I kid you not - one of the employees said "Oh, I thought you guys were just hanging out and not ordering anything." Somehow they were able to come to this conclusion without a single interaction with us, or asking whether or not we were going to order. Then finally an employee shows up and takes our order of two entrees, a side, and two drinks - one water and a beer. The food came out fairly quick, but our drinks were nowhere to be seen. At a beer garden of all places, you would think that the beer would move faster than the food does, but it wasn't the case here. It probably showed up 5-10min after the food. All in all, I will not be going back to this place due to their non-existent service.
Tried this place out & really enjoyed it! It's in a great location & it's huge-I went on a Sat. evening & there was plenty of seating despite how busy it was. Drinks & food are reasonable, & there's a good choice for beers & other drinks. You order with a qr code at your table, which was convenient. Great atmosphere & easy to get to via public transportation
Bar staff were friendly and drinks were delicious. Nice vibe outdoor seating across the street from the Liberty Bell.
This is a really good place to be able to go for a beer with friends. It's huge - with lots of tables available. It's outdoors, but also protected, so it would work even with bad weather. They have a nice selection of different beers available, along with food. We primarily just got beer and a few appetizers. Will definitely keep this in mind for future visits to Philly.
One of the better beer gardens in the city, Frankford Hall is a seasonal gem that offers a truly authentic experience. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's the perfect spot to grab a refreshing drink, especially while you're exploring all the historic sights in Old City. The cracked Liberty Bell, just a stone's throw away, is the perfect backdrop for enjoying the ambiance. Don’t miss out on this unique mix of history and fun!
In Philly and can’t figure out how to put the Phillies game on. Watching some lame Notre dame game. In DOWNTOWN PHILLY.
It was a good experience to hangout there. Play games and have a couple of drinks.
Great location and vibe. A little expensive. We only had beers.
