The Zio monitor was intensely painful on my skin. I endured it for 8 hours then had to encase the monitor in a cloth pouch to suffer through the remaining miserable days. I removed it as directed then received multiple harassing phone calls telling me to mail back the monitor.
Worst customer service ever impossible to reach a live person
We will never use this company again! My husband used their in-home heart monitor test. For whatever reason the insurance denied the claim. I fought like hell to get them paid! This TOOK HOURS over several weeks of my time making phone calls. The claim was finally approved because of my efforts and I thought this was over. (Our insurance changed as of Jan 1 I’ve been unable to login for follow up) Apparently, after the claim was reprocessed it left a balance of $30 for a COPAY. I was completely unaware! NO call, text , email or statement in the mail to alert me of the $30 balance!!!!!! After I fought so hard to get them paid, Irhythm sent the $30 balance to COLLECTION without any Communication or notification!
FOR SOME REASON THEY FIND IT EASIER TO PUT MY BILL INTO COLLECTIONS THAN LEARN HOW TO BILL MY INSURANCE COMPANY, I HAVE SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE TELLING THEM HOW TO DO IT AND YET NEXT CHARGE, ALL OVER AGAIN, I HATE THEM.
Was given this heart monitor but not alerted that it was out of network. They give you the option to pay directly or bill your insurance for a higher amount.if you choose insurance and your insurance does not pay you are responsible for the higher amount and will no longer allow you to pay the direct amount. They also offered me a 10% discount. If I paid in full. However they don’t tell you that it must be paid in 30 days. The whole thing seems very unethical.
Got one bill in the mail, a week later I get sent to collections. Wasn't even a final notice. Terrible
They messed up the dates to bill my insurance company. The insurance company rejected their claim. They got screwed by a bigger bully. Now they are coming after me to get their money. I am very disappointed. I was in between jobs when their dumb device was recommended to me by my doctor. I asked the staff if I would be covered when they attached this toy by irythm on my chest. They confirmed that I was covered. I was covered when the monitor was attached to my chest. I was covered when I mailed it back. I was covered when they received it. But they took their sweet time to process the data. By the time they process it and send the bill to my insurance company I lost my health insurance. Now they are harassing me to get their $. Incompetent scammers. Also how can their rating be 2.5 stars when all the reviews are only 1 star.
Device repeatedly fell off despite following instructions perfectly. Support was combative, kept insisting I try to re-stick it over and over with no luck. They argued with me about the duration necessary (against the orders). Still they are trying to bill me despite the failures of the device.
Patch fell off the second day repeatedly. Hit the fell off button on the app. Says keep pressing (like I didn't do that already) or call customer service. I elected to tape it down, over and over. After it caused blisters on my skin, and one wing just disintegrating, I called. Got a nice soft spoken telehelper. But they said that even though the wing is falling apart, it would be my discretion to send it back. Anytime a company says your discretion, it's a clear sign they are going to screw you over. I believe everyone would just be better off leaving it in the box for 2 weeks. Tell your Dr you want a different company monitor!
1am I get a call from a foreign accented person asking for my birth date and other personal info, I hung up, they called again at 5am I found out the caller was in the Philippines... I ripped the off, easily, was stuck on well... I do not want my personal and Healthcare information sent overseas...
