Not sure if they are just setting up, but walked in and there was absolutely no vibe. Just some chairs and the counter. They were out of drip coffee. Americano tasted like only water. Latte tasted like only milk. Barista was nice, but geez.
Extremely slow service. Especially during the mornings when people are trying to get to work. I wasn’t even acknowledged by the employee after standing in line for 10 minutes. I’ve tried to not cancel out of this cafe but Im one bad visit away from just going to one of the other 50 coffee shops on Bay Street with better service and pricing
they reopened under new management Tuesday. Staff was very friendly, drinks were made very well, we tried their blueberry old fashioned donut, it was very good, crumbly and moist.
Okay, everybody downtown needs to try this place - great coffee, beautiful pastries (sweet and savory), and no lines!! They have zero ambience right now, but hopefully that will change. You can't even see the espresso machine as you walk in, but they're there!
They use an espresso blend for their filter coffee which is an automatic knock of two stars. Didn’t try their espresso but the Victoria Arduino looked nice.
Jose made me one of the best vanilla lattes I’ve had!!! So kind, and I will definitely be coming here for coffee whenever I’m downtown! Highly recommend!
