Contacted Jim Goldberg right after I was contacted by IDFPR. Explained to him the situation I was facing and on multiple occasions asked him if I should do anything and get in front of accusations I was facing - every time he said "Wait for official letter". 3 weeks later I received official letter from IDFPR and turns out if I had gone ahead and sent in an explanation to IDFPR right when I was contacted, I wouldn't have faced disciplinary action by IDFPR and spent thousands in legal battle. Jim incorrectly advised me in this scenario and was very focused on receiving his retainer fee than helping me out professionally. I highly suggest other IDFPR attorneys. I later learned that he has poor reputation in between other attorneys in this field and has left his family practice due to issues arising.
James Goldberg was very supportive to me in my efforts to close my case with IDPFR. He was always available on the phone, answering all my calls, questions, and providing needed education and reassurance. Highly recommend!
Attorney James Goldberg really knows his stuff! I learned he is really good at helping those who had not even received their professional license yet through IDFPR. I read he was good at fighting for those who are current licensees, but wasn't sure if he could help those who didn't even get a license yet. The answer is, he can. He's very professional, thorough, and knows opposing counsel members at IDFPR. This is a good one to have on your side. He was available the day after Christmas via telephone, so that shows he is dedicated to his work.
