Great spot for breakfast and club sandwiches at a good price!
The people that works here are so nice
Jean's Cafe is my consistent breakfast spot after a night shift at the hospital and I go here about 3x a week. The food is cheap relative to the neighborhood and a hearty breakfast of eggs, grits, sausage, and toast can be had for around $7. The menu consists of American food. The interior is beautifully decorated in cute, bright colors and decorations as well. The staff are super friendly, hard working, and fast. This place is popular with students, construction workers, and locals. There's strong Wi-Fi. Oh, and the trash cans are by the ATM to the left of the entrance.
I used to come here a lot because it's down the street from my job. The food started off okay, however over time my breakfast always seemed to disappoint. The home fries are literally dry and flavorless, the scramble eggs are stuck together and gooey...it's just a mess. The main reason of my review is the owner/front staff and the complete disrespect towards my hard earn money and time. Granted I've read reviews where some are praising her(and the other younger lady)to be these sweet people but that's not accurate....She upcharges me for everything, which don't get me wrong, I understand that it's protocol in some instances BUT for me to get the same things over and over again and it's a different and higher price each time is ridiculous. She also has the extremely unpleasant aura when speaking to me and it makes me feel totally uncomfortable and not valued. I've watched her interaction with other guest...(mainly white) after she's just spoken to me and it's very day and night. All in all, I will find another restaurant that values me as a customer and treats me just as equal as the next person.
Great place to grab breakfast or lunch. They food is delicious and they are kind and efficient. They take excellent care of their customers. The tables are kept clean and the food comes out quick. Highly recommend.
As everything become more and more expensive, Jean's Cafe offers a good meal at a reasonable price. My go to on days I do not bring lunch to work is their Turkey combo that includes, a whole sandwich on your choice of bread, chips and a can soda for less than $15. Staff is always friendly and welcomes you with a smile.
This had been my second time at Jeans, and the young Lady that was at the register was very kind and also attentive. The only problem is that you place your order, wait and the you must go back to the counter to pick it up. Other then that it's a nice place and their food is good for the price that was paid.

Good prices, large menu, and great food. Kind and fast service. Highly recommended for a breakfast on a budget.
