In Seattle for a few hours and followed the signs. Was a little sketchy walking down a black closed in xterior hallway to get to the entry door, but glad we went. We were the first people there when it opened. We spent some time tasting beer and playing cards. Really liked the serce yourself tasting where you get a FOB that counts the ounces you pour, so you can taste each before deciding if you want to pay for a whole glass. We had some pizza, and while it was wasn't spectacular, it was defunitely better than i expected from a bar. They had shelves full of board and card games. It is probably a ton of fun at night. There was a pinball room, a glow in the dark room with swings for chairs, a DJ room and a TV room. Sponge Bob was playing when we were there. Last note.. the bathroom was the cleanest, neatest, nicest smelling bar bathroom I have ever been in, and my husband said the same about the men's room!
Jonathan was a great host and made everyone and my family happy and he went behind and over to make sure everyone was comfortable and welcomed. Man with the big beard has lots respect and love from loads of customers! Best place to be if visiting Seattle!
I was there on a weekday with a big group and was very impressed! Food was delicious (and fast), drinks were creative , and the whole place had plenty of places for people to hang out. Special shout out to Jacob, Darren, and Merleé for making the whole experience flawless. Swings, sparkles, beer wall, and pinball! Highly recommend for a good time
I was looking for a place with a billiard table and found this place instead. Apparently it used to be a pool hall just as an fyi. Still a fun little find. It’s a fun tap house with ping pong tables, pin ball machines, TV room and table games. I tried a slice of pepperoni and it was delicious. Solid simple but tasty slice of pizza.
Totally love this place! Very kind, nice people working here. Had great conversations with Merlee and Jonathan. The beer selection is great and the self service beer draft is cool. Also, the pinball machines are a lot of fun!
Came on a Sunday evening, had the pinball room to ourselves it was great fun. The gentleman on the bar was helpful in explaining how the tap board worked, gave us cash for the pinball cash exchange machine and allowed me to sample a cocktail before picking. Great atmosphere and lots of different rooms to sit in.
DO NOT GO IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SIT ON CRASH OUT COUCH. Showed up when there was a $20 cover for men, but women were free. Left and was told the cover dropped later in the night. It did not and in fact increased to $20 for both men and women. Not only that but taps closed and left with shots only with a 20 min wait in line at the bar. Never would have entered had I known this would be the case. If I wanted a club environment, I would go to a club. Then told that if the alcohol isn't finished by 2 AM, they will throw out the drinks...not the vibe. Bathrooms were -100/10. CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE LESS.

What a fun place! We stopped in for a drink and ordered a couple cocktail flights. Then we sat on swing chairs under a black light and played Taco Cat. We had a blast!
I am SO glad we found this place! What an unexpected surprise. The exterior is unassuming but it’s a straight 10/10 delight once you’re indoors. We live just up the street and have been looking for a new local haunt. Came in on a Saturday afternoon, greeted by the owners themselves who are so kind and passionate - you can immediately feel the love and pride and attention to detail in every corner of the (multiple) spaces. The vibes are immaculate. Saloon speakeasy, meets jazz bar, meets study den, meets trippy fantasy black light space room. We will definitely be coming back to finish our workdays, over pizza and a pint and cannot wait to tell our friends and bring our visiting guests. I am not a big beer drinker and rarely want to finish a pint, so i LOVED getting to sample lots of new things without having to commit to a whole thing. My husband on the other hand loves beer and liquor, so he enjoyed the self service. They don’t do mixed drinks or cocktails, but he ordered a simple whiskey neat after his pints of choice and it was just right. They do pizza by the slice and by the pie AND also a full gourmet Brazilian steakhouse menu. We ordered the Beef Picanha Brazil Meal and it was EXCELLENT. Meat was juicy and tender, the sauces were vibrant and a perfect complement. 10/10 would recommend. It’s the antithesis to your classic grungy belltown dive bar, so if you’re looking for a refreshing new take on drinks, eats, and social experiences - Just the Tap is where it’s at.
