Best falafel and hummus! This meal was 10 bucks, great bang for your buck. Service is great and the owners are lovely.

Amazing Shawerma, falafel and Gyros! Filled with meat and perfect ratio of pickes and sauces! I’m middle eastern and have never had better Mediterranean food in KC! Also everyone is incredibly kind and the place is held to a very high and clean standard!
This is an awesome international grocery store. They have a large selection of products from all across the Mediterranean and Middle East region, including frozen foods, dairy, spices, tea, and canned goods. I love the selection of Greek imports - this is the only place in town I've found them, including really niche items! I'm also consistently happily surprised at the number of items that have kosher hecshers on them. The staff is friendly and helpful, too.
I finally made it in to Mediterranean Market and I'm so pleased I did. The ambiance is fantastic. With the music and the delicious smells, I felt a bit transported when I entered. There's a robust offering of dry goods, frozen pantry and fresh fruit and veg, in addition to the hot food menu. I got a smattering of items from the pantry: chips, halvah, other candy, digestives, a cold beverage, and other snacks. So eclectic! I'll be back for spices and probably some Turkish coffee. To go, I ordered a gyro sandwich, chicken shawarma, dolmas, and the cheese baklava. My family agreed it was all delicious. The cheese baklava is really interesting, and a variation I have not encountered yet. I have much respect and appreciation for the individuals who are willing to fill these needs in the community.
Nice place! I went to pick up bags ordered with Too Good to Go (app for selling discounted items that are near sell by date) and also ended up being hot for and baklava from their in-store foodservice area. Everything seemed reasonably priced from what I noticed roaming the aisles while my food cooked (which was delicious - lamb gyro, seasoned fries, walnut baklava). Great variety!
This is the BEST MEDITERRANEAN FOOD IN THE U.S.A. no way I searched Mediterranean food & they did not come up due to being a Market! I only eat Gyros here but I’m sure everything else you desire is delectable. Enjoy 😍 much love ❤️ from Marchelon Spa.

Amazing spot for a delicious, tasty meal. Portions are fair and pricing is super reasonable. We come here about twice a month and always leave saying “this place is sooo good”. My favorites are the hummus and the hummus and falafel wrap. The gyro sandwich is also wonderful. Friendly service as well and not to mention it is a small, family owned local business. Run, don’t walk to this spot! You will not regret it!
