The BBQ and fried pickles were great. Great sauces. I’m a BBQ snob and the ribs are great. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Awesome cocktails!!! Everyone is friendly, but the bar tender was the best. Went out of her way to help me when my phone died. If i lived in Jacksonville this would be my regular joint. If your visiting this place is on the must go list.
The jalapeño corn bread will choke you it's soooo dry. Hint: creamed corn. Everything elsegood
Ordered the spare ribs on Uber eats and very disappointed to be sold old ribs that are dried out and actually have a sour smell once the meat is broken. I’m glad I only ate one smh . The second rib I opened was dry and smelled super sour and the fries are very stale
Good BBQ, great service. I had the pulled pork sandwich, sweet tea and sweet potato side. In the past I had the burnt ends, as well. Overall solid BBQ.
Great place for some bbq. You have to try the burnt ends and the mashed sweet potatoes! Very delicious!
Food delivered to office. It was hot even with a large order. Order was correct. Brisket was a bit dry, pulled pork was moist and flavorful, ribs were tender. Mac and Cheese noodles way over cooked, bean have a very strong garlic taste.
Mojo is a nice place in river side. If you like BBQ and you are in the area you should definitely try it. They have a great bar, and a wide variety of liquors to enjoy. Their sauces might not be the greatest ever, but they do a great job with the meats. Try the burnt ends they are really good. From brisket, to pulled pork, chicken and sausage they have a variety of meats for every taste and everyone. Their sides are really good too, baked beans corn, and their french fries are all delicious. I’ve mostly been to the one on beach blvd,but this seems a lot better.
The boom boom shrimp was out of this world. The sauce is outstanding, bring the heat. North Carolina bqq sandwich was also outstanding. A great choice for a quick hunger killer
Food and service was not good at all tonight. Started off with cold chicken nachos. Probably wouldn't have been very good if it would have been hot anyways. The brisket in the Ruben was hard to chew and everything had no flavor. The onion rings and the tea were the only good things about our meal. Our waitress never asked how everything was or refilled our drinks. We had to ask for a refill when our cups only had ice at this point. Then waited a while for her to ask if we were ready for the bill after just grabbing plates and walking away. They were not busy for a Friday night. Not worth the price. Sonny's and Bono's food and service are better than this.
The saddest excuse of dry cold burnt ends I've ever seen. I used to frequent this location. No longer will be ordering there. I ordered on Uber eats. From order to door was less than 30 minutes. So it isn't Uber eats fault. How can you let this leave your kitchen? Whoever you hired recently with the "I don't care I just work here attitude" has to go. Otherwise you'll lose customers. I paid $27 this brisket. Not including Uber fees. Whoever sent this out of the kitchen doesn't give a darn about the integrity of the restaurant.
