Mojo No. 4, Urban BBQ Whiskey Bar

Had lunch here with my wife. The boom boom shrimp were out of this world. I could have ate my weight in them. We also got the “whole pig” Our sides were mac and cheese, collard greens, FF, and onion rings. All were phenomenal. As for the meats, everything was delicious, but I felt the pork was a little dry. Overall a good meal and I would go back again.

Probably the best dining experience we have had this year. Really confusing to see all these other recent reviews rave about the food and the service and then give 3 stars lol, what gives? My wife and I don’t dine out much anymore because we’ve been disappointed so many times and spent so much money only to think “we could have cooked better for half the price at home,” but I am thrilled to say Mojos #4 absolutely blew us away and we actually left stunned at how good the food and service was for the price. We split the Whole Hawg platter and when I tell you we left with 3 days worth of leftovers I am not exaggerating. Mike Z was our waiter and was terrific; attentive and friendly without being overbearing or cheesy. Every one of the meats and all 4 (four!!!) sides was 10/10. Loved every single bite. Worst part was having to pace ourselves and be strategic in what to eat right away and what got relegated to the leftovers box. Honestly, for the amount of food we got and the quality of everything, for $50 I feel like we robbed them. We are so so glad we tried this place before our baby arrives next week and we cannot wait to come back as a new family of 3. Thank you, thank you, thank you for such an awesome dining experience.

Best onion rings I’ve ever had in my life. Huge, hand breaded, absolutely amazing. Everything else was pretty in line to your typical BBQ faire. Warning: Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich will melt your face off if you’re not a spice lover. Juicy, but the spiciest Hot Chicken I’ve ever had. TBH it probably was too spicy. Would go back but would order something different.

These are the best onion rings I've ever had. I took my husband to try their array of whiskeys and he wasn't disappointed with his flight. He had a 3 meat combo and all of it was great.

Went for lunch today and got the fried pickles appetizer and the grilled Salmon salad. The salad was perfect and the homemade ranch dressing to die for. I got the Salmon cooked Medium and it was AMAZING. I wish I had of gotten pictures of the food to share, but I will definitely get pictures next time because there will definitely be a next time! Update (6/24/2024): went for lunch again today and got the half order of onion rings and the Salmon salad again! The onion rings were fantastic and the salad was just as amazing as it was last week. I can see this becoming my new favorite spot to get a salad for lunch!

Came on a Saturday afternoon about 3:30 PM. Not many people in the restaurant got sat right away. The food is appetizing and we had some good drinks. Reasonably priced for the area. This would’ve been a great experience if it wasn’t for the service.

Honestly, some of the best BBQ around, hands down. Their wings are top two in the city. Easy. Their meats are spectacular and served how you like them: delicious and hot. Want you brisket lean? No problem. Wet? Of course! And the sides are just perfect. No drowning Cole slaw, no flavorless beans, no overcooked greens. And the Texas chili is hot and perfect when we happen to have cooler days in Jax. Never disappointed when I eat here but always left wondering what took me so long to come back! Enjoy!

I ordered off Uber Eats! I opened my plate and was shocked first by the two FULL sides I received! Yall the plate was HEAVYYY! No exaggeration. I ordered the 3meat plate, which online I couldn’t sub for dbl brisket but man if I could’ve (😮‍💨) The sides, baked beans and green beans for seasoned and tasty! The smoked wings *chefs kiss* I haven’t even tried the ribs yet. The brisket, got me in a chokehold tho *again no exaggeration* TOO GOOD! Worth the Trip, Gas, and MONEY! Do yourself a favor, go. Order. Whatever you got to do! Just get Mojo’s in ya belly! 🤣

Ariel was the best, she provided the best service, made great food recommendations, and provided a welcoming environment for me and my friends. She is the reason we will be returning more often.

The worst experience ever. Now look at this dinner. I was told by JPowell the manager and the cook that the meat fell off the bone??? Looks like someone got hungry in your kitchen. And it was hidden under the other 2 pieces. I took it back they never apologized n their attitudes suck . Check your food especially if u do a pick up order. And at least I received a refund.
