Adrian duka was the adjuster assigned to my claim. No sort of communication constantly had to keep calling him or texting for updates and he had the audacity to say if I'm "bored" or "needed someone to talk to" for checking in for an update. That's literally his job haha. He should be mad and annoyed with the person who's insured under progressive who hit my PARKED vehicle. I'm waiting on the last bit of money of course I'm gonna be persistent on it just like I'm sure he would too if someone owed him money.

My agent handling my claim struggle with clear communication or informing the step by step process. The out come didn't give me peace at mind.

Awful. Might as well have not had insurance. Had them for 30 days, my car was hit sitting in a lot, and they dragged their feet for over 2 weeks to find a way to deny my claim.

Progressive is BS, They’re claims department makes unjustifiable decisions, these insurance companies are just a rip off, I’m very disappointed with the evidence given, the witnesses at the scene testifying, the other drivers decisions to not stop but to heed ahead and collide with the side of my car from head on. But I’m at fault, despite his decision not to stop & admitting he didn’t pay attention , I’m sure he lied in his statement, but the damage speaks for itself… all of these insurance companies are a joke…including Progressive auto insurance …

Trash company. They never sent a return box for the in car plug in so they are sending $30 to collections 4 days after I ended my policy. Quick to send threatening bills when I’ve never made a late payment on any account instead of taking accountability for the miss on their end. Oh also you can get better coverage for half the cost at Allstate so literally don’t use them for insurance.

The worst insurance company I have ever had and my husband and I will be switching immediately after the experience we had with them. We were involved in a hit and run accident on November 1st, filed a claim, and the way that Progressive handled it was absolutely ridiculous. This was a brand new 2025 Mazda CX5 that we only had for 3 weeks, with less than 500 miles on it, and instead of helping, Progressive stated that they are refusing to use or look at our police report because "it wasn't the responding officer on scene" even though we had gone to the police station immediately after being checked by the EMTs and even the cops said our police report is still valid and the insurance should've looked at it. Then, they started insinuating that we caused the crash on purpose and stating that we should've written down a license plate if it really happened, even though our airbags deployed and the other party drove off before we could even process what happened. Then, we called the bank to inform them of the accident and they stated that the insurance company needs to call them with the claim, but when we informed our claims agent of that, they refused to contact anyone else after denying our claim, stating that they don't reach out to anyone and that it was useless to get the bank or our GAP insurance company involved. Then, we get an additional letter that clearly states they will be covering the cost of our loss, and when we called to ask about it, they stated that the letter actually meant they would cover the other party instead if we find them. Overall super unhelpful, will give you the run around, and the worst company to have for your insurance.

Progressive has been steadily increasing my auto premium over the past 5 years. I've continued to pay the bi-annual increases without complaint. I've never filed a single claim with them over the past 5 years. This month, due to fraudulent activities, I canceled one of my credit cards. I did not realize that this was the credit card I had on file with them. When the autopay failed, they immediately added a $30 surcharge to my bill and downgraded my rating, even though I made the payment the very next day when I received the alert. I was upset and shopped around for a new policy. Today, I canceled my 5-year auto and home insurance with Progressive. I saved a whopping 65% with my new auto policy and 17% with my new home insurance policy. I voted with my dollar, and they lost another customer. I highly recommend not sitting back and simply accepting their annual premium increases. Shop around for better rates.

The absolute worst insurance company. Raising rates while their representatives can't even come up with an answer as to why. Wouldn't reccomend doing business with this corporation

Progressive has to be the worst insurance company around. I was in a minor fender bender with a Progressive-insured driver, who admitted fault as they backed into me, and despite this, Progressive decided to only pay out 50% of the estimate for the claim. They didn't tell me they were only paying 50% of the claim until I went to pick up the car from the auto body shop. After calling their claims department, someone by the name of Aleisha informed me, that it was their policy that even if the driver admits fault for backing into me, because my vehicle wasn't parked, that they only pay 50% of the claim. In fact, Aleisha repeated this about 5 times to me despite her driver admitting fault in front of myself and a witness as they were backing into a parallel spot that was occupied by me. Now my insurance, USAA, will have to pay out a claim to me, and I'll have to wait for them to counter-sue Progressive for the difference. Progressive does this cause of their stupid policy, and it would cost them roughly $600 to fix the damage from their driver. This company sucks. Don't use them for insurance, and hope you don't have one of their drivers run into you or else you'll be stuck trying to recoup the expense after hours of time spent on the phone with their adjusters and painful automated prompts. They make you download their app to file a claim and it takes about 40 minutes to capture video and photos. What a scam.

Terrible experience so far. One of my vehicles had a tree fall on it. This vehicle is a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL with 41,000 miles and excellent condition. This of course falls under comprehensive as an act of God and it was considered totaled. Progressive is saying the market value of the vehicle is $18,617. I went on JD Power and Cars.com and they are saying average market value is around $23,000, with a range that can go higher based on mileage and condition. I sent them all of that data including comparable vehicles that are currently on the market and they are all around $23,000 and listed as a "Good Deal" being under market value on Cars.com. I just did a search this morning for similar vehicles and you cannot find one within 200 miles of us for under $21,200 and there are only a handful with lower miles and still under warranty. I spoke to the person assigned to my car after I sent them this data and a letter explaining everything and they said, "The offer still stays the same because we use different data to come up with your valuation." However, the data they are pulling is also from JD Power so how is it so grossly different from what JD Power is telling me? I don't care whatsoever about what kind of data you're looking at because I'm literally looking at what is available in the market as well as what JD Power and Cars.com say my car is worth and it's over $4,000 more than their valuation. I also explained to them that I worked at Cars.com for over 10 years and understand market valuations and am using the appropriate data. I also noticed on their valuation report that they are including a Projected Sold Adjustment in their calculation which they just recently got sued for. This suit claims that Progressive “systemically thumbs the scale” against claimants by applying a so-called “Projected Sold Adjustment (PSA)” that reduces the base values of the comparable vehicles used to calculate the actual cash value of claimant's total loss vehicles. The negative price adjustment is applied on top of normal adjustments for differences such as trim level, mileage, or options. Progressive recently settled the lawsuit at $13.8 Million. It seems to me that Progressive is actively trying to lower vehicles values even when recent data is presented right in front of their face and is provided by the most respected companies in automotive.
