On our way from CT to Florida Keys with our RV and we had a fault code appear on the cluster, this was near Hardeeville SC 6:00 pm, we limped in third gear some 15 miles to a campground. There we did some internet sleuthing and came up with Progressive Power. Called them in the morning, they referred us to a heavy duty towing company who picked us up and brought our RV a 2006 Safari Trek, with a workhorse chassis and an Allison 6 speed. And our attached trailer to Progressive for the next workday by 9:30 am. As soon as we arrived, the service manager Carrie was under the RV while the wrecker driver was reconnecting the driveshaft. Checking for code with her computer. She then ascertained that there was no signal from the TCM. They removed it, did a bench test, bad TCM. Replaced with a known good TCM, RV was fine. They could have ordered a remanufactured unit over night, but gave us the option of a good used one that they had! Long story short, we were on the road 6 hours after arriving at Progressive. Larry, and Nancy have an outstanding staff including Amanda, Carrie, and Coulter that all were involved in our repair! Kind, Caring, understanding people. that truly understood that we were in a jam and got us back on the road! Thank you!

I would give them more stars but 5 it's all they offer. These guys are a life saver, from helping diagnous after hours to making space for us. They fixed us all new and sent us our way super quick.

I took my 2004 Silverado 1 ton dually in there with a Allison transmission problem. It was blowing fuses and staying in first gear they said they could fix the problem. So they're labor rate is $190 an hour two hour minimum so they installed three wires and drove around a little bit and charged me almost $1,000. They said that the wires were bad and they think the computer's bad but there weren't sure they were waiting on some kind of program for the TCM so they could check it and they had my truck for a week. So they called me and told me after 2 hours was gone that they ran the two wires which was actually three and that they weren't done troubleshooting it that they needed another hour. So it's all said and done they charged me for 6 hours instead of just two and they tried to justify it on the paperwork so they're just milking me dry and not fixing anything. I have to go pick the truck up and I found a computer that has a guaranteed lifetime for my truck from Miami which will be cheaper than leaving my truck there cuz they said when I got done working on it it was going to be $3,000 plus some. I don't think I take my lawnmower there they're labor rate is so high that it's cheaper for me to buy parts and put it on there then have them troubleshoot. I don't think I'd ever take anything there again. Oh one more thing to get more money out of you they're going to charge me miscellaneous hardware itemize oven old disposal environmental fees diagnostic software and hardware cost which I don't see how three wires had anything to do with that so they're just putting something bogus on there just to get more money. I have never heard of a labor rate of $190 until I came there.

I had an Allison fault code with my Allison transmission on my 2022 RV. I could not clear the code on my own and this was the third time I had to have it towed someplace for repair. This time we were in the Jacksonville area and several rv shops and the Freightliner dealership all recommended Progressive Power. We had our RV towed to their shop from the campground we were staying at. Larry and Carrie immediately got to work on it and within a day were able to diagnose and repair the root cause of the problem. Great communication throughout the process and their rate was reasonable. Especially considering the sense of urgency they put on it knowing we were stranded and needed to head back to Colorado. I highly recommend this shop!
