The worst place to delivery. Long wait times and staff is unfriendly
Went twice with the same load, scheduled and rescheduled for the next day. There were trucks in line sitting for over 24 hrs to get unloaded so I Told them I wasn't waiting and took it back to our yard for them to schedule another delivery where it sits a week later at this point. RGL in Detroit has been a joke since it opened over 20 years ago, nothing changed!!
Unreasonably slow, 7hrs waiting on the street to get a dock for an expedited delivery of 1 skid! Street full of trucks waiting for hours, how is it that appointments only matter when the truck is late but never matters to receivers and shippers?!! Would never want to come back here again.
No restroom no good for drivers with live loads
Open at 6am for hotshot and local can take a chance however it is appt only for a reason extremely tight difficult to turn around and even more difficult to hit dock when docks are full due to very limited space it is a bit of a wait depending on what u have i was there two hrs start to finish guy that came after me hour twenty minutes. So eat or have food before arrival no restroom must sit inside while unloading vending machines no card only cash and coin. When arrive go to gate 2 on clark st. Ck in with guard shipper name and your phone number go in and find parking spot anywhere it will not be easy very limited parking they will call u give u dock # and directions open door bump dock i didn't have a seal if u do ck with gaurd when u ck in or the phone call. Take paperwork to door next to dock 1 give papers to attendee fill out ck in paper sit call u to window when done give you your stamped papers and gate pass to give guard on way out BE SURE THAT U HAVE GREEN LIGHT BEFORE U PULL AWAY. close doors then leave. It was cool nice office personal just tight and some drivers are new and can't park good plz help them cause it could take 20 minutes remember if u get in an accident u won't need another load and u just screwed everyone behind you cause its extremely tight.
I was in and out in less than an hour, unusually nice people, not everything you hear about Detroit is true...

I was unloaded during 1 hour 45 minutes. It's not bad.
Wixom Receiving Department it’s really fast and easy unloads at their facility. Supervisor Zelika Moore best and fastest hi-lo driver I seen she can unload a truck in 10 mins if she wanted to. Denai is really friendly and good person to talk too.
Drivers, be prepared to stay long hours. The reason for my visit is picking up, I arrived at 6:45 am. it's 1:20 pm and I'm still in door
