Solar States

I had 11 solar panels installed on my roof by solar states in Fall of 2021 and have absolutely loved them! I found the company to be extremely professional and timely with their design, planning, and implementation. The entire system was installed in one day and has held up well. I had one panel that was not absorbing as much energy as it should, and they kindly replaced it within a week of me reaching out to them. Since the roof installation, I have also asked them to design a solar canopy for my rooftop (which I have not installed yet), which was a very easy process. The next project I will have them do is install a consumption meter so I can see exactly how much energy I am using vs producing at all times of the day.

We had our solar panels installed in 2022, and our project planner was really thorough so that we could make the best choice for our house. The installers were also great to work with - we ran into an extremely weird issue with the roof surface, and they were very flexible as we got it fixed. The delays to completion were minimal.

I admired Solar States 10 years ago. I was a happy customer 5 years ago. Today, I'm still happy with the care they still provide. I'm even more proud that I worked with them when I had the chance. Look – A big part of your solar installation is the warranty. The solar company has to stay in business for the warranty to mean anything. Solar States, thank goodness, has staying power. I liked working with them because they were honest, and they cared for my roof, which I was super worried about. It's also cool that they often have trainees come out to observe the work! They are building the workforce of the future, and I'm all for that.

I went solar with Solar States for around 2 years now and I grateful that I did. The team were very professional and they have been responding to all my emails promptly. As I customer I have felt that they work as a family and in a friendly environment. It is a noble feeling to go solar for the environment and also to reduce bill energy. My bill went down for over 80% so far. I highly recommend Solar States

I have received 5 star service from Solar States from day 1 of my interactions with them. My small grid operates seamlessly and I have PECO supply bills only a few months out of the year and the extra power generated during the rest of the year is sold through SRECS. I highly recommend Solar States.

Sorry to say that Solar States has not stood behind their product. A couple of years after I used them, they called saying that I had to pay them $450 for an update or my system would stop working. They blamed another vendor, but seriously, we used their equipment and everything - they should have made this good. Even after I agreed to pay (I mean what choice did I have?), scheduling has been a nightmare with them not getting back to me until the night before to cancel. They were nice during the sales process, so I would say buyer beware after!

Solar States did a great job with planning and installing my solar panels. They (Dan Fischl was my rep) worked with me to come up with the right number and adjusted as needed when I decided to put in a skylight. They took care of all the paperwork with PECO and kept in touch with me through the entire process. After installation, there was an issue with one of the panels getting in the way of opening the skylight. Solar States sent a tech out to fix the problem the next day. I love the savings on my electricity bill. I highly recommend Solar States!

we have had solar panels for at least 5 years. Still very happy with them, no maintenance needed, and electric bills are very minimal April to October.

Solar States was fantastic to work with. Thea walked me through the design and system selection, the logistics and installation team were awesome. Really great communication through email and smooth throughout all the inspection processes and financials. I'm really glad I was assigned to Solar States through the Solarize Philly program!

Solar States was there for us eight years ago when we took the solar plunge, did a great installation job and recently responded right away when we were doing some home renovations and needed to make some adjustments. It's a terrific company!
