I did to go but the atmosphere is nice and warm. The case is filled with beautiful sweets and there are savory items! I got a pistachio latte and festival cake (gluten free). Cake is very sweet! But I enjoyed it 10/10. I loved the pistachio latte it’s smooth and earthy and not sweet!!
Came here with friends after England vs Norway; it made the night even better. The pistachio chocolate cake was delicious, my friends loved it too. The service was amazing with complimentary watermelon and Turkish tea. We look forward to coming back in the future.
My wife and I went here after being fed up looking for parking near a Yemeni coffee spot. Look, i enjoy Yemeni coffee and the cakes and the ambiance. This was just better. Better food, better desserts, better coffee. In not saying Yemeni coffee isnt wonderful. Ill probably go again this weekend. But Turkish Brew is just better all around. Do not miss this spot
Really lovely Turkish cafe with excellent roasted coffee and Turkish coffee. A pretty broad range of Turkish desserts, cakes, waffles, crepes and beverages. Super family friendly and they’ve got a nice outdoor seating area and a huge downstairs. If you’re in Philly, or looking for a spot after Jummah, definitely recommend.
I bookmarked this cafe as I am always looking for Turkish restaurants and cafes. There are not many in our city, and I genuinely would support them. We went to this cafe with my mom today, and we loved it. I think the cafe deserves more visits. The atmosphere is good for working and socializing, and they have Turkish breakfast. I wish (I think the more popular it becomes it the more possible it will be) that they also served more options and variety of Turkish breakfast. Other than that, they have everything.
Be patient with service as this place and workers are brand new, but the food and pastries are tasty and fresh. I got the tuna wrap, golden horn juice, pistachio letter, and 3 pastries: chocolate and traditional baklava, and eclair. The juice was my favorite and the wrap was great (could’ve used a condiment altho I’m now just seeing lemon juice, olive oil and vinegar / condiments on the back counter self service) The latte is good, but could use more flavor from the paste and was a smidge too hot. I provided feedback after asked. Overall I’d come back. The pricing is a bit steep as well, but competes with other cafes or delis offering similar products for target spend ranges. Also the service is great! I appreciate the kindness. ☺️
This place is awsome sauce! The atmosphere is amazing. If you want to sit in the cafe area for a more general communication vibe or downstairs for a more private working area or outside for a more nature approach they have it all here. Plus the customer service is fabulous! For being a 1st time customer he gave me a complimentary Turkish tea. From beverages to Turkish bakery items everything is delicious! And they are open late until 8pm for people who may want a late night treat and cafe beverage.
We’ve been coming here since the first day we discovered Turkish Brew, and it quickly became our go-to spot. We usually order the Breakfast Buddy for 2, the unlimited tea is a big plus! The portions are both visually appealing and very filling. They even treated us with complimentary items like poğaça, kısır, and a smoothie, which was such a nice surprise. The hospitality truly feels like Turkey. The toast was delicious and a good size, but my personal favorite is definitely the gözleme. Highly recommend!
Turkish Brew was such a great find! I was finally able to get Dubai chocolate for my daughter, and it was everything! The owner, who makes the chocolate, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He even gave us samples of the smoothies, which were delicious. We also tried the Dubai cheesecake, Turkish espresso, chocolate, and one of their savory pies—everything was amazing. Just a heads-up, that Turkish espresso is the real deal… had me up past 2 AM! Lol. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back.
This restaurant was very good. The environment is very clean and spacious. The chicken gyro döner were the best I've eaten lately. Baklava and tea were also very good. Very kind people and sweets. I recommend it to everyone
