This place has excellent desserts and coffee specifically the opera cake and the chocolate and raspberry cake pictured. A lot of the desserts do contain nuts however. I also enjoyed the turkish flat bread stuffed with spinach and cheese, it was flaky and delicious. Ambience was nice too.
My wife and I discovered TTB by chance on our Philly vacation during Xmas week. While looking for a quick coffee, we were excited by the variety of choices of bites, salads, coffee, and pastries. The pistachio coffee was delicious, and the raspberry chocolate cake had great flavor and was not overly sweet.
Yum! Friendly staff. Try the egg and cheese grandmas gozleme. I would avoid the chicken wrap- good but dry, and many other more exciting things to try! Menemen also good worth a try!
What an amazing cafe! The folks behind the counter couldn't have been any nicer and the food and beverage was fantastic! We had a beef gyro wrap, a honey walnut crepe, turkish tea, and a fresh watermelon drink, all were quite delicious. Multiple times the gentleman and lady came to check in during our meal. So hospitable! Do yourself a favor and go here ASAP, you won't be disappointed! Oh and get some baklava for dessert, DELICIOUS!
Tried VIP Turkish breakfast for 2. refreshing mix greens with delicious cheese, olives, honey butter and fresh simit with tea is a true Turkish experience. They paid attention to detail. You end your breakfast feeling satisfied and not stuffed. Highly recommend it. Now it’s our breakfast place when we visit Philly!
The oven-baked salmon was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was amazing as well — Berry (the cashier) was incredibly sweet, and the owner took the time to explain the food and make sure everything was just right. You can really feel the care they put into their food and hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back. See you all next weekend! 😊
Everything was amazing! 😋 I got pesto chicken bless and a strawberry shortcake matcha as well I highly recommend! The owner, Matthew, is very friendly also. I will definitely be coming back !
My mom visited me in the city and wanted to stop for some coffee. After a quick Google search, we came across The Turkish Brew and decided to check it out as Turkish coffee is a big part of our culture as Albanians! The owner, Matthew, was amazing and treated us so kindly. The Turkish coffee was perfect and felt like a taste of home. We tried the Dubai Chocolate Cake and it was so delicious and fresh, as well as the Kisir made with Bulgur which was a perfect small bite to share (especially with some lemon!). I can’t wait to come back and try their Turkish tea as well as their eggs with soujouk. They have great hours and a beautiful location, which is great for a student such as myself to have a place to study and have great quality food and drinks all at once. Definitely check this place out if you haven’t already!
I was looking for Turkish places near me for food and coffee. I stumbled upon The Turkish Brew 12 minutes from me. I took a screenshot to visit later. That Wednesday my mother had an appointment in cherry hill so afterwards we drove into the city for sustenance. First we went to Cilantro and walked out after sitting for 20 minutes in an empty restaurant without anyone coming over to the table. I decided to head to The Turkish Brew because we're Turkish and my mom requested a Turkish spot. We hit the jackpot. The best way I can describe the experience is like I walked into my mom's Turkish kitchen and she started taking stuff out of her fridge. The owner Mert is one of the most hospitable, generous and talented restarauters I've ever met. He accommodated every craving we had. Literally whatever we asked for he had! The space is so beautiful and large. Tons of free street parking. The pogaca was better than my moms and she agreed with me. The sweets/dessert were fresh and handmade. The tea was Neverending. Ive been to 100s of Turkish restaurants and this one of the best experiences ive had. There's also items like wings, pasta w/ sauce and paninis on the menu as well as a full coffee menu. Everything is super affordable. I can't say enough. Today is the 3rd day in a row that i've come. Oh yeah theyre open til 10 pm and then til 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. Definitely a must visit. You will not regret it.
Went here for breakfast and had a pretty good experience overall. The breakfast food was good, but nothing that really stood out. The flatbread was probably my favorite thing we ordered and was very tasty. The tea and drinks were also really good and worth trying. The desserts were a bit disappointing and not my favorite. I was expecting a little more from them. The staff were very nice and welcoming, which made the experience more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a nice spot for tea, drinks, and breakfast. I’d come back for the flatbread and tea.
