I have been a customer of Tom James for many years. My personal clothier, Ivan Luna, always takes very good care of me and goes the extra mile to make sure I am looking my best. He has excellent taste in clothes and he has managed to broaden my horizons to look at clothing styles I might have passed over before. I can't recommend them or him too highly!

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with Tom James has been so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. I have been a customer for the past two years and, until now, trusted this company. At the end of April, I ordered three additional pairs of wide-leg Omni trousers for an important work conference beginning on July 6. This wasn’t a new design or a complicated order—they had already made this exact pant for me before, and my pattern was already in their system. I specifically reminded them that I needed the pants for this event, and at no point was I told there could be an issue meeting that deadline. I waited patiently. Then, just two weeks before my conference, only one pair arrived for fitting. When I inquired about the other two, I was eventually informed that they had not even been started because the order had been placed on hold due to “fit issues.” No one contacted me. No one emailed, called, or made any effort to let me know there was a problem. A “luxury” custom clothing company sat on my order for weeks, failed to communicate that production had stopped, and only disclosed the issue after I inquired. I was then told the remaining pants would not arrive until July 27—more than three weeks after the event for which they were ordered. When I spoke with Ivan, the branch manager, I expected some accountability, urgency, or concern. Instead, I was essentially told they could refund or cancel the order. That was the extent of the solution. No apology that matched the inconvenience, no attempt to make things right, and no recognition that their complete lack of communication had left a long-time customer scrambling for professional attire before an important conference. For a company that markets itself as a premium, luxury clothing experience, the customer service is shockingly poor. Luxury isn’t just about fabric and price tags; it’s about reliability, communication, and taking care of your clients when things go wrong. Tom James failed on every one of those fronts. This has been one of the most stressful and frustrating retail experiences I’ve had in years. I will never do business with Tom James again, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering them to think twice before trusting them with an important order or deadline.

I called Tom James to update my wardrobe following weight loss. Jordan was on-time and came with a smile. She had a file on all my former purchases and sizes and helped me pick the right fabrics and items to update me...... I felt updated when she updated my wardrobe. Great service, great advice, great experience.

Excellent clothing surpassed only by the quality of the people who represent the company. I have worked with Jordan for a few years and I could not be happier with the results. The suits, slacks and sport coats she has helped me pick out are fantastic. She listens to what I am looking for and makes some recommendations, even helping me to get outside my small fashion comfort zone. Great experience and great looking and fitting clothes every time.
