Tom James offers the highest quality custom clothes for all occasions. From start to fit and finish the clothes are amazing, the staff is highly knowledgeable and accommodating. Kim Stavinoha is a pro. I've been a client for more than 15 years but she never fails to provide red carpet treatment. The most recent "save" is a last minute tux, tie, pants and shoe order for a major event. Of course, the fire drill is usually my fault but she won't mention it. My body shape has changed now that I'm 53 but she is very PC about my wardrobe changes! She's 'go to' on all my formal, business and casual wear and shoes, belts, you name it. Good quality materials. Service is absolutely ridiculous after paying a premium price. Everyone understands supply chain issues have been ongoing for a while but its not an excuse for poor communication. I ordered clothing to go to a wedding and I was told my clothing would be in weeks before. The delivery dates I was provided were consistently passed without anyone reaching out. I only heard something when I reached out a week after. Each time I came in it was only to collect a piece. The last time I came in was a month after I was told my clothing would be ready. I reached out after weeks of no contact. "Oh yes your clothing is here. Can you come in for a fitting?" I go in only to find that all the items weren't in and there was no delivery date for the remaining. I asked to just have the rest of my order cancelled. They offered me 20% off the next order to make up for the miscommunication. No, I'll take my money somewhere else.
I have been extremely pleased with the quality, array of fabric and style options, timing and service I have received from the Tom James team. My TJ Clothier, Taylor Reding, has done a wonderful job responding to my clothing needs in a professional and friendly manner. I highly recommend TJ and Taylor for personal clothing needs.
