A place where you can find anything with a UT Longhorn on it? The University Co-op has it. It is a fantastic place to get your gear or gift for any occasion. The employees were very friendly and helpful. It is the place to go to after a tour of the University of Texas or before a football game. If you are starving after shopping, the Co-op Food Court is located behind the Co-Op with several food trailers--highly recommend to check it out.
I ordered two used textbooks online, waited over a week for my email that they are available for me to pick up in store. I never received this email and so I went to check myself to find out that there are no more of the books I ordered in store and they will not be ordering more. They never saved any of the ordered books for me (which is the point of ordering online in advance). I never got an email telling me about this problem, so I ended up having to pay full price for brand new textbooks in store. This was my first time ordering from the coop and needless to say I will not be ordering again. I am extremely unhappy with my experience.
It was nice, cool, but the only thing about it. Bring money, Alot of it if you are looking for apparel there because if you are not in the Very small Clearance Side. Everything is about $25 and up from socks to other wear.
Love the Co-Op, this is the UT mecca for whatever you are looking for. There is always something to buy and there is always so much to choose from. Parking garage behind it is great to get in and out, if you purchase they will validate as well so bring your ticket with you. There is a great photo spot with Bevo in the back, during graduation he'll get dressed up too. There is a new Welcome to Austin sign that is very well painted and the color is much better than the original sign. There are a few food trucks in the back that I have yet to get to try. The people at the Co-Op are helpful and friendly. There is a sale/outlet section on the 3rd floor. There are some things that you can find elsewhere for cheaper bur for the most part this is where you can get anything and everything UT.
Best place for UT gear
Came in last week to grab a few things I needed for my upcoming Summer class. Ben was very helpful and personable and helped me around the shop to get what I needed. Definitely will come again.
The University Co-op is a great place to get all of your UT gear including game day attire. The atmosphere in the store is very collegiate, and the sales associates are always helpful. I never have a bad experience in the Co-op.
It's expensive. However, I'm still a sucker for buying merchandise there just because it's so convenient to campus. One thing I hate is how expensive textbooks are! I highly suggest ordering your books from Amazon or some other cheaper place. I will give them props for doing the 10% rebate program because it definitely adds up throughout the year. Plus, their social media team is great and they are always doing some type of contest online.
Good place. Lots of UT stuff and sell books too. Everything is on the pricey side so I suggest checking if books are sold somewhere else. If not, the Co-op definitely sells it. At the beginning of the semester it's pretty busy, and the checkout system is subpar. You can spend Bevo Bucks here which is cool if you need to buy Christmas gifts last minute.
Prices are a bit on the high side, but this is the place to go if you need to stock up in your burnt orange. The women's wear turns over a lot and there's always something new and cute I don't really need. Also the best place to get burnt orange nail polish.
