The owner is incredibly rude and clearly price gouging. I asked a simple question about the inconsistent hemming charges—I’ve been quoted different prices each visit—and he told me to take my clothes and leave. So I did. I was willing to overlook the uneven pricing and mediocre work, but the attitude is unacceptable. Don’t give your business to people this shady.
I've brought everything from t-shirts to suits to formal gowns to be tailored here and everything has turned out beautifully and has been ready exactly when they say it will be. Strongly recommend for anyone looking for tailoring in lower Manhattan!

Recently, my pants were hemmed too short, with sloppy stitching, and there was poor communication regarding deadlines. The inconsistent pricing and insistence on cash payments are also frustrating; it would be preferable if the business adhered to standard tax practices. Considering these issues, I recommend seeking tailoring services elsewhere to ensure better quality and value for your money.

I’ve been using Wagner’s Tailoring for about 12 years, and they have consistently done excellent work at very reasonable prices. I’ve trusted them with everything from simple pant hemming to full suit alterations. Most recently, they tailored a thrifted Loro Piana 100% cashmere double-breasted coat to fit me perfectly. This was a difficult job as the coat was originally bespoke made for someone much taller and larger than I am. Wagner’s truly worked their magic, transformed it into my coat. Because of the way the shoulders were constructed, I asked for readjustments twice, and each time they graciously accommodated my request at no additional charge. ]As long as they maintain this level of quality, I’ll be a lifelong customer.
