Poor customer service. Line of people waiting to check out. No manager supervision or support when called.
They don't offer any of the average Walgreens deals (BOGO, etc.) always long check out lines and slow ringing things up. Also had issues with my purchase that resulted in having to do a refund. On an upper note, staff is very friendly and polite.
My Cashier Was AWESOME/AMAZING 😍🤩! WILL VISIT AGAIN
Walgreens decided to close the pharmacy in the downtown branch a few months ago which is really disappointing. It's still handy for basic stuff. But now the closet pharmacy is at Publix in Capitol View which is over half a mile away from downtown.
During our recent vacation in Nashville, Tennessee, we had the pleasure of being assisted by Robbie and Destiny at the Walgreens on Rep John Lewis Way. We found ourselves needing to ship some items back home, having bought more than we could carry. Although we hoped for a packaging service at the store, there wasn’t one available. Robbie, who was managing the FedEx service that day, went above and beyond to help us. When the box he found was too small, we asked if we could use a Pringle’s box he had on hand, which turned out to be just the right size. Destiny was instrumental in helping us find everything we needed, from tape to a small blanket to wrap our fragile gifts. We spent over an hour in the store, needing assistance multiple times, and both Robbie and Destiny were incredibly patient and helpful throughout. Even when we ran into issues with payment and accessing the QR code to ship, they offered suggestions and continued to assist us without any hesitation. Thanks to their efforts, our package arrived safely at its destination, and we have Robbie and Destiny to thank for making it possible to take a little bit of Nashville home with us. Walgreens is fortunate to have such dedicated and outstanding employees, and they deserve to be recognized for their exceptional service.
Line was very long and I saw a cashier over by the photo dept. so I walk over hoping I would get the two items I have cashed, cashier told me photo only which I am not sure of because I work at Walgreens and at my store if the line is too long we help customers regularly over by the photo I don’t see what was the big deal it’s not like a had a cart full of items. Staff members should show more urgency towards the customers.
Walked in at 7:59PM and the cashier in front of a lot of customers screams at me that it’s 8PM and they are closed. How did the doors opened then? Definitely needs to work in his customer service. 4/1/2026 at 7:59PM
