Cucumbers on the salad were not fresh. They should have gone in the compost pile not a customer salad. The pirogies were served in a lot of oil, a puddle to be accurate. Beef short rib entree was beyond dry. Along with the mushroom risotto. I’ve eaten at a lot of places. I will never be back. Waste of my hard earned money.
Very cool bar with painting all over the walls. The server, George, was so nice and friendly. Food came out fast and delicious. Just walked in randomly and enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend for a chill bar environment.

Came upon the 1518 Bar and Grill looking for a place for drinks and dinner. Excellent find! Rick, our server, was terrific and attentive. The cocktails, wine, and beer were fantastic. We had calamari as an appetizer and it was some of the best we’ve ever had. Two of us chose the steak salad for dinner and one chose a house salad with grilled shrimp. All were delicious!! Definitely recommend this great place.
Seat yourself. Super busy 6pm..dead 7pm. Saturday...so wait it out if busy.
Food was delicious.... celebrated my 40th birthday there...
I randomly found this bar while walking down Sansom and absolutely love it. This Philly Sports vibe is everything (Go Birds). It has never been super busy, but there are usually people around. I come here after work for a quick drink and it helps relax after being a corporate schlub. I’ve also come here with friends and the food is definitely worth it as well. While not quite a regular, I’m working on it. I want my name called like Norm from Cheers when I walk in and I think I can make it happen.
The menu was limited because we arrived 15 minutes before dinner hour. Sandwiches are hearty and sides generous. Just hard to give 5 stars to a restaurant when you have to order from a sandwich lunch menu at 4:45.
