Aceable

The aceable app was really easy to learn from, had some weird bugs that wouldn't show you the questions only the multiple choice answers, I had to go back and fourth between questions to get certain ones to show up. But overall a pretty good experience highly recommend doing drivers education this way.

As a student, I am currently going through Aceable right now. I have had no problems/technological issues with the app itself.. Saying that, I do have some complaints. I find this app to be very tedious and obvious. I'm getting a lot of common knowledge questions that almost everyone (old enough to drive or not) would know. It makes me question; "Am I wasting my time on this app?". I feel like all of my time is going no where, and I don't think I should feel that way about driving. I am motivated to drive, I just find this specific process of doing it to be unnecessary/unneeded. I think Aceable should try to add engaging factors like more videos, more questions, and a lot less words. I understand Texas requires a certain amount of time spent on obtaining a learners permit, but that time shouldn't be spent just mindlessly looking at words. I've lost motivation over the months being on this app purely because it is ridiculously repetitive and boring. I shouldn't have to consider skipping past every single page because its information I've already heard a million times before. All in all, while it is a driving course, I would recommend something happen with the creativity and interactiveness of this app.

The driving course itself was fine, but, beware the big SCAM that they run with automatically signing you up for a recurring charge that can only be cancelled from your kid's account, you can't even manage it from the parent account. Completely shady and scummy and I guarantee they know what they're about.

Couldn't have gone any smoother. My daughter studied, took her test, passed, got her permit, she's been driving behind the wheel almost 3 months and very excited to get that license. We both highly recommend Aceable if you have time to help your kiddo learn. The driving portion.

If I could could give ZERO stars I would, my husband ordered the driving course for our daughter encountered an error at check out but still got charged $70.00 tried contacting them no answer then when he finally did get someone on the phone he was told they would send a confirmation for our daughter to begin We never received it. It’s been a month since we have disputed it with PayPal and now we have to continue to wait. Do not believe their money back guarantee.

I love Aceable. They are great and helped me a lot to get my learners permit!! I would recommend this course to people who are trying to get their learners permit.

It was fun, practical and very useful. I just moved from another country and have been a driver for a long time. This was a very interesting way to learn US driving regulations and to make sure I know what is needed to drive safely here. Thanks

Overall a wonderful experience, the graphics and videos are very informative and colorful to keep me engaged, but I think it took me far longer than the 6 hours it was supposed to take. It was cheesy, but honestly it's way better than sitting through a regular defensive driving lecture with a monotone voice. The only improvement I would suggest is to have a progress bar (of the entire course) on the top of the page or any other way to see when a test was coming up (Sometimes I would stop one chapter before the assessment test and come back the next day to take the test and not remember the material, I would much rather take the test right after the material). Other than that, the online version was very user friendly and I liked how convenient it was.

Company took our money and let my daughter start the course. She’s completed several hours of the course, then locked her out. I called the customer service line and they told me to give them 24-48 hours to contact me back. 72 hours later I try contacting them again bc no one had contacted me at all. The phone line is down and the message tells me to text a number. I text the number explaining everything and I receive a message back saying to allow 24-48 hours for a response. I see Aceable is giving me the run around and aren’t going to fix my daughters account and aren’t wanting to give my money back.

Had to take a driving course for a speeding ticket dismissal and Aceable was great. Didn’t have to listen to some guy talk for hours. I actually did it all on my phone and was able to break it into chunks and do it at my own pace over the course of a few evenings. Would highly recommend!
