The service was excellent. Johnathan was very professional . he was Instructional for us on technical information and usage of the fireplace and very patient with our questions. A great service visit.
Might not recommend. I debated leaving a review because every person (or company) has a few "off" days. but from what I experienced, it's more than that. Long story short, it took them around 7 weeks and multiple failed inspections to run some gas lines, and at the end I still didn't have what I asked for. I really think the estimator just didn't want to go in my crawlspace and that complicated the entire job, because a competitor came out and got me completely sorted in less than a day. Nice enough people, but it felt like no one at the company communicated with each other and that led to a lot of frustration. Three stars because I did eventually get the gas stove I wanted hooked up, but not the generator lines, and even the stove took an excessive amount of time and headache. They did volunteer to eat the balance of my invoice, but even still I got a call asking for it to be paid and had to explain that I was told we were good. ETA: I had a good conversation with the owner and director of ops, that felt very much like they were trying to fully understand the problems and how they could address/improve (not at all adversarial or making excuses). Many of the people I dealt with on this work are apparently no longer employed by AEI (I left this review 6mos after the fact), and they have offered to perform a future service free of charge if I'd be willing to give them another chance. So even with this review, I'll say they care about their reputation and they make a personal effort to address concerns.
UPDATE: The company certainly stands by their work and reputation as a premier gas services provider. The crew, which was very professional and thorough, lacked the materials to fully fix complications from an initial install. They were certainly aggressive in making it right afterward, even with me saying it was fine. So, I would offer that even if the work is not initially optimal--and it seems 99% of the time they nail it the first time--they will always make it right. There is no risk in going with AEI ProGas.
I had a great experience with AeiProGas. I've been using them for the past 10 years for our pool/spa heater and will continue to do so. From scheduling through the actual appointment, everything went smoothly. Johnathan was great! He kept me informed about his arrival time and showed up on schedule. He was courteous, professional and friendly. We would definitely recommend AeiProG
Ken, the technician was very knowledgeable, had great technical skill and was clean and safe. Pre and post notifications were a big help.
Excellent service. Had a gas leak that was detected and service agent took care of the rest. Helped fully explain what was going on and made suggestions on next steps. Definitely worth the service call.
Excellent work and arrived as scheduled
The technician from AEI ProGas was very knowledgeable and efficient in addressing the issues with my repair to my spa heater unit. Before changing the regulator, he checked for the proper operation of the unit to ensure it was operating correctly. His test saved me the cost of replacing the regulator because he found that the regulator was working properly, it was the venting of the regulator causing the problem with the operation of the spa heater. It was an easy fix, saving me money on the repair. Thank you Jonathan, I appreciate the work you did for me today. 😎
Jonathan really helped me understand the issues and how to repair and replace my appliance. For someone not familiar at all with gas leaks and appliance, he went the extra mile. I loved working with the team who was answering the phones for appt dates and concerns. The owner was also quickly responsive to my questions.
