I have come here a few times now and it is a great place to chill out and have a few beers. I have yet to have a beer that I dislike. They always have a few pilsners/lighter beers on tap along with a great selection of IPAs. So if you like craft beers, they will have something you like. I stop by every time I am in KC
The absolute best that KC has to offer in craft beer, both in terms of quality and service. It's the place I always recommend my out of town friends visit when looking for a brewery to go to. Nick and Tania are awesome. We are extremely lucky to have Alma Mader in KC...I just wish I lived closer to it!
Had some great ipa's there. Pretty small place but a great atmosphere for hanging out.
Alma Mader is amazing. They have a very nice open seating area for having beers with friends. They also have a huge selection of beer to go that you can purchase. They rotate regularly what beers are available meaning almost on weekly basis there is at least one new beer hitting the draft menu and the refrigerators. Alma Mader brews a huge variety of beer, from double ipas, stouts, lagers, they make it all. I am a huge fan of all the different pilsners they make.
One of the best breweries in the city. The pilsner and lagers are super refreshing. The staff is incredibly friendly. The IPA's, whether New England hazies or traditional west coast, are all exploding with flavor and absolutely delicious. The outdoor area is awesome, assuming the weather is nice. No matter what, this is a must visit brewery anytime you're in KC.
Nick is one of the top brewers in the area period. After living in Northern California for over a decade, I can honestly say this brewery is on par with anything I had out there and beyond.

They hosted an Earth Day event, and nailed it on aspect. The folks leading the event (who I assume on the owners) seemed like thoughtful, nice people. Despite the West Coast nod they make a pretty tasty New England IPA. Overall seems like a good local place to get tipsy and support.
Alma is a KC treasure, and would be one of the top breweries in any city. They make world class beer--focusing mainly on lagers, IPAs and stouts. Service is always swift, friendly and accurate. They carry a rotating variety of cans to go and always have options on tap to please the most discerning beer nerds and casual folks out for a beer with friends. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during the busiest of times, but I've never had a problem finding nding a place to park nearby. Don't sleep on their hop water (Topo Lupo). I was shocked by how flavorful and satisfying it is. I like it better than any sparkling water flavor from La Croix, Bubbly, etc.
Extremely well crafted, award winning beers. Definitely one of the best breweries I've been to. Ipas and pilsner are perfection in a pint.
