I ordered two chenille sweaters online and was super disappointed in the fit and material so I returned in-store. The second I walked in I saw several things high up I wanted to look at and everyone was happy to help me even if I ended up not wanting it. When I finally found something I liked but it wasn’t part of the promotion I had originally used for my sweaters the manager stilled honored it and saved me so much hassle of looking again. Stellar service, will definitely start shopping in person rather than online.
I was just in the store shopping with my daughter. We spent a pretty penny. The clerks in the store were rude, aloof and acted like we were putting them out. After my daughter had decided on the clothes she wanted we went to the cashier station to pay for her selections and stood for over 10 minutes for someone to come, at which time I got irritated and tired of waiting-so I searched around the store for someone to help us. The cashier was extremely rude as I paid hundreds of dollars. My daughter loves the clothes there but we will find other stores in with just as cute clothes. In other words we will not be back.
I love the clothes at this store and have shopped here for a long time. My mom and I went shopping here today and the staff was extremely rude. We asked for help getting some clothes down and were treated like the biggest inconvenience. When we went to check out (nearly $300 worth) the young lady checking us out was so rude and sighed at us for counting our cash to insure the proper amount. Not one employee was nice and it makes me wish I hadn’t bought anything. Will not be returning to this location.
Today’s visit was not good. The staff at this location greeted everyone coming in (Caucasian of course) except me. Then only one girl after I was in there for 10 minutes offered to get me a fitting room whereas at other locations the staff are way more friendly. I’ve been a loyal customer to this chain because they have more inclusive sizing compared to other stores, but this was just unacceptable. I hate that this is the closest store to me and that I’ll have to go through this uncomfortable experience again if I ever decide to come back.
Worst experience I’ve ever had in a store. The clothes was really cute so me, my sister, and my friend were just browsing and the staff kept staring at us and following us around(were Latina). They also kept radioing each other and didn’t even have the decency to try and hide it. No decorum at all.
I was enticed to return after seeing a very cute outfit in the window when they were closed. Everything is beautiful about this shop. I usually only buy clothes that are on sale, but this place was so beautiful, it made me want to look at everything! So beware :) I love that a portion of the sales goes to charity. A beautiful store that has great employees. I didn't realize they were closing while I was still looking and they didn't rush me out. Treat yourself and walk around the store, even if it is just to admire.
Cute clothing but the place has a creepy religious vibe that's very uncomfortable. This comes from the music, employee trad-wife uniforms/outfits, and use of the word "Altar" everywhere. Took a minute for it all to click and I left when it did.
The staff at this store is awesome! The ladies there are amazing. I found such cute masks! And this is my new favorite coffee mug! My mom even steals it! 😂 There are always amazing deals there. And their clothing are really a great value. 💜
Love the clothes shop this brand regularly, had one of the worst experiences today. She happens to be the manager “Maddy”. Made me very uncomfortable my entire shopping. Will not be shopping at this location anymore. She’s very impolite and could use some training. “Leave the problems at home don’t bring them to work”. I’ve probably spent more than she will ever make working here. Very disappointed with the whole experience.
I greatly enjoyed my trip into Altar'd State. It is a fresh, clean environment where the vast majority of merchandise carries a positive message. To add to this, I had the great fortune to have Gabby help me find what I was looking for in the store. She was quite helpful and my purchase would have been about half, had I not the good fortune to have her guide me. The cashier was another positive experience in the store. I apologize for not getting her name. Not only will I return in the near future, after speaking with my wife about my experience, she will go there as well.
