Solid 3 stars. We used to come here back in the day 10-12 years ago and it was amazing. Nowadays- Food is average. Some dishes were wow. Some dishes were not good. Atmosphere is nice. But.... They really rush you. We were 4 peeps, 4 drinks, sharing 6 plates, and were very rushed... Not a place to sit and enjoy a relaxing Sat eve dinner with friends... One man's opinion...
Cute place, loved the vibe. The lighting was nice. The food was fantastic and their drinks were too. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, great service. Small plates to share, the lemon curd ricotta cake with the lavender crust was one of the best desserts I've ever had!
I am gluten free and they had a specific menu for me and most of the food on it was the same as the regular menu. What a treat! The food was delicious, the server was super attentive and I like the simple elegant style. I will be back.
Cocktails 2/5. Paid 21 bucks for an overly sweet bourbon concoction. Had high hopes based on menus online but whoever runs cocktails must have left. Food was decent but I was unimpressed, and for that price per unit food I expect to be at least mildly impressed. Service was great though, and the minimalist decor beats the aggressively chic ostentation of other trendy-but-unimpressive haunts in the area. Diners who are broadly satisfied with the food scene in downtown Seattle should definitely eat here, as it's decidedly superior to the likes of Some Random Bar for example, but with food, drinks, and prices so severely inferior to unpretentious but gustatorily excellent Vindictive a few blocks down, I cannot in good conscience leave four stars. Would rate 3.5 if possible.
We were so excited to try this restaurant, it looks so inviting and cozy from outside. We were seated quickly but the view from where I sat wasn't that cozy. I was facing the back of the restaurant, stairs. Since we were there for happy hour, I know we wouldn't stay there for too long so I just tried to enjoy the surrounding. The drinks were excellent. The food was meh.. they came out so fast and it made us thinking they weren't fresh. The fried chicken tasted like it's been sitting under the heating lights for a while. The cauliflower was super spicy. All in all, we are very disappointed. Don't think we'll come back.
Intimate and quaint restaurant for dinner with a group of friends. My friends and I got a couple different plates and shared everything. The broccoli was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend! The service was a little slow, but it was nice to be able to catch up with my friends without feeling rushed.
One of the best dinners we had during our visit. The server was awesome - it was a slower night so he took the time to walk through the menu and help us make some picks for food as well as cocktails. Everything was fantastic!
I can't praise this place enough. The menu has excellent variety and consists of small sharing plates. Each plate is thoughtfully created and well-balanced. The wild boar ribs were so good it was almost hard to handle. The cocktails are expertly designed and crafted with balanced flavors. The atmosphere is warm and candlelit, and the space is intimate and cozy. Perfect for date night.
Just went for the first time. I had the pork belly and a couple of cocktails. Everything was fantastic. Excellent service with super friendly and inviting staff all around. Highly recommended!
The bartenders Ryan & Eliza are amazing, full stop.
