The Boulevard Brewing Tour is something that I could repeat over and over, the tour itself is a nice experience, and the beers in the tasting room are great. Without any doubt I recommend this Tour as a “must to do” if you either leave in Kansas or you are just visiting Kansas.
Had a great simple tour and educational experience about boulevard brewing. $5 per person for the tour and included 3 5oz pours. Exceptional customer service, workers do not work on tips. The tasting room is gigantic with all kinds of beer to taste and try. Great experience, great beer, and great company.
Attended a company event here and it was great. The bar staff were very friendly and quick, the shuffleboard was fun and had well thought out instructions, and there was plenty of space and seating. The parking situation seemed a little tough, but it seems to work.
Boulevard is amazing. I love all the room in here and options to go outside. SO many beers available - my favorites are the experimental beers you can try. They also have seltzers and canned cocktails for the non-beer drinker. We also got artichoke dip, and it was incredible. The host at the front door was delightful. I also loved their big Pride flag outside!
The tour was fun, engaging and lot of drinks were included. I liked having food options available in the beer hall but they were very subpar. My “cheddarwurst” was a hot dog. As a Midwestern and visitor of Germany, I expected it to be a sausage/ brat type - not a hot dog and $8.50 for a hotdog is not a good value in any economy. I’d recommend eating prior to visiting and just coming for the beers.
Come on, son! Damn that’s good beer! The Bourbon Barrel Quad will sneak up on you and slap you senseless. Tasty! The largest brewery in KC (that matters) and the atmosphere is still smallish, the beer flows like wi… beer, and the gift shop is chocked full of stuff you can’t leave behind. Boulevard beard butter! Shirts out the wazoo, and, back to the tasting room, some of the biggest beers in the region. A must visit when in Kansas City!
Great experience. Really nice venue, lots of already established boulevard drinks to sip on plus more than a few new ones. Should definitely do the tour and hang around for a bit after. Had a great time!
We went for our anniversary yesterday, and it was absolutely wonderful. The tour guides have such amazing personalities, so it makes it extra fun as they tell you about the history of the brewery, mixed in with a little history of booze. After the tour you end up in a huge drinking/food area. It's a very busy spot on the property, but the staff manages to keep a good flow, so lines weren't long. I've been drinking beer for almost 2 decades, but I feel like I actually learned how to drink it properly to get all the flavors, and to appreciate the craft much more. Huge thank you to all the staff. They made a celebration for us very memorable.
This is one of those places that makes Kansas City, Missouri great! It's truly a wonderful place to visit when you're in KC. They have plenty of samples of all their normal beer selection and new or upcoming releases. Plus the "Boulevard Store" is here that also has whatever you need. Be sure and check out Boulevard and take a tour while you're in town.
The brewery tour is fantastic! It was my second but this time I took my dad. The staff’s knowledge of the operation and history of Boulevard is very informative and the guides are funny as well. The lemon ginger raddler is a refreshing summer drink but I especially enjoyed the Southwest Blvd Lager and the Joker’s Wit. You also get some great views of the city on the tour! There’s a fair amount of walking FYI but not exhausting.
