Boulevard Brewing Beer Hall

Went out of my way to visit Boulevard Brewing Co. when driving through Kansas City! Got myself a flight of the seasonal beers, a pretzel twist with cheese & two beers from the experimental/test tap section of the Beer Hall on the second floor. Great service & recommendations for drinks, and awesome views of the city. I spent about 1.5 hours in the Beer Hall & then made my way down to the first floor to purchase some items from the Gift Shop, as some of their beers you can only buy in person. Looking forward to my next visit, whenever that is!

Decided to spend my birthday taking a tour of Boulevard and it was an amazing experience! The guides were very fun, friendly, and knowledgeable on the topics and questions asked. They went out of their way to help make our experience as great as possible. If you have difficulty walking or getting around, no worries there as there are elevators and ramps that are there to help. Getting to try the experimental beers was amazing and I can’t wait to go back again!

Our tour guides were fun and engaging. They told the history of the company and it was really interesting. The drinks were good, and the views were great. The price for the tour was not expensive at all. Would definitely recommend visiting at least once with friends.

The tasting room is nicely laid out and perfect for socializing. They have a great selection of beers. The reason for 3/5 stars is because I ordered food using the QR code and paid/tipped. The is a special request block when placing your order where I requested ketchup. When my order arrived, no ketchup. No big deal but you would have thought it was by the reaction I got from the short-haired blonde female food runner when I asked for some. She returned with it with a complete attitude. I guess when your tip is already pre-applied into the order there is no incentive for being courteous. 🙄

Boulevard Brewing Tours & Rec Center is a great place to visit, whether you're a local resident or a visitor to KC. My brother-in-law was in town from Dubai, and where did he want to go? Boulevard! The rec center is great! It's a spacious, friendly area. It's all designed to be an open feeling, while still having sections that inform guests of the history of the brewery and the science of beer. If you're lucky enough, you'll meet Julia at the front desk. She was extremely friendly and explained to my brother-in-law all about the features of the building. Want a beer? The bar upstairs is great! Want a great bartender? See John! John was great. He helped out with tasting samples of the beers on draft and even offered to get a us a new beer if we got one that we didn't like. THAT is quality service! Want a picture strip with your friends to save your moment? Hope in the Airstream looking trailer and take a strip of four shots! Want to play board games with friends, they have those! Want a party room? Yep! Want some sweet merchandise? Their retail area is excellent and features a lot of locally made products. This is an easy 5-star review. Oh, and, bosses at Boulevard, you should be very proud of how Julia and John treat everyone with respect, kindness, integrity, and knowledge.

Another wonderful visit 1/26/25. Got there at 11 am and it was packed with people including families playing bingo. Little strange to be playing for beers and kids win however they won a soda then. Today was afc championship game so plenty of Chiefs fans in team gear. Lots of high gravity beer, regular tours and lots of merchandise. I a dd so I today I stuck with soda and I tried peach which was very good. Nice facility. Tried some sips and beer was tasty Anastasia and Angie in the gift shop were professional and so helpful when I was looking for gifts.

Boulevard Brewing Tours and Recreation center offers a perfect hang out to enjoy the iconic Kansas City Boulevard Brewery brews alongside a gathering of your favorite friends and family. Age agnostic, this is a mature but responsible environment that allows for the enjoyment of a beer with underage patrons present. The bar offers quality gastropub selections of charcuterie and finger foods, a photo booth, and board and card games to entertain guests. Absent televisions, patrons are entertained the old fashioned way by socializing with one another. Highly recommended for the beer aficionado or those looking to enjoy a beer in a low key environment in any size group.

Great experience! Samples were great and generous for what you pay for the tour. The guides were great and very personable. From someone who is also in the craft industry, the answered questions openly and to the best of their ability with added humor along the way. I would recommend!

We went for a tour guide and it was incredible! Mitch gave us a tour and he was great at what he did! We had the chance to try many different types of beer and each one was unique. The gift store was incredible. And their T-shirts are amazing. They have an experimental bar section. That is also super cool. The history behind this place is amazing. If you are ever in town, I recommend it. PRO TIP go Sunday mornings to their BINGO. You can win free beer and drinks.

We did the brewery tour and enjoyed it. Pretty laid back and you get to see behind the scenes. Good bang for your buck considering all the beer samples you get. Good atmosphere upstairs , just wish they had TVs to watch the games. The downstairs tour tasting room seemed to be the only place that had a tv, and since we wanted to watch a game we had to leave.
