Coopers Hall

Coopers Hall is such a special venue. We were fortunate to have our middle school jazz band’s performance at Coopers Hall and the beauty of the space, friendliness of the staff and delicious food and drinks made it an event to remember. The gorgeous sunlight streaming in through the floor to ceiling windows, twinkling lights strung from the rafters and the stacked wine barrels made for the perfect backdrop to the perfect evening. If you’re thinking about holding your special event at Coopers Hall, I can’t recommend them enough!

My husband and I got married at Coopers Hall in August 2018, and we cannot recommend the venue any higher! The venue doesn't need any additional decorations- the strung bistro lights, the floor-to-ceiling windows, the rustic wood barrels and the countless hanging plants make for the coolest blend of industrial tones with natural elements. The food is also delicious- the menu is seasonal and fresh and caters to all dietary needs. All the wines are on tap, which is both aesthetically pleasing and resourceful (there is a sign that showcases how many bottles have been saved from the use of the kegs!). And the wines are incredible! They have something for every type of wine drinker (plus beer, cider, and a full bar for those weirdo, non-wine drinkers). Finally, the staff is top-notch. The venue is rarely open to the public because they host SO MANY events. The staff's expertise executing events is evident in all facets of the planning process. They make everything a breeze- and we planned our wedding all the way from Chicago. Every detail was covered and the Coopers Hall staff truly exceeded our expectations. Because of them, our vision came to life, and we had the absolute best day of our lives! Book your event (of any size) here and you will be SO HAPPY that you did!

I attended a wedding at Cooper’s Hall. The service was absolutely top notch! The entire staff was super efficient and so pleasant. The food was off the charts fabulous! Beautiful venue, very clean!

If I could give Coopers Hall more stars, I absolutely would. From planning to execution the entire team was so kind and helpful, and the wedding reception we hosted went off without a hitch. The venue itself is gorgeous and requires minimal decoration, if any, and the food is absolutely incredible. I would recommend Coopers Hall to literally anybody who is planning an event.

I truly can’t say enough good things about Coopers Hall. We hosted an event there, and the space was absolutely amazing — beautiful, welcoming, and perfectly run. The entire experience from start to finish was seamless, and the team made everything feel easy and elevated. What really moved me, though, was what happened afterward. I accidentally left behind a black button-up shirt that has deep sentimental value — it was a gift my mom bought for me when I was visiting Sweden. I didn’t even realize it was missing until I got home. Months later, the team found it tucked away and reached back out to me to make sure we could get it reunited with me. They helped coordinate shipping across states. That level of care and thoughtfulness is rare. They had no idea the shirt meant so much to me — they were simply being kind. This goes far beyond being a great venue (which they absolutely are). The staff is genuinely caring, responsive, and wonderful to work with. It says so much about a business when they show that kind of integrity and follow-through long after an event is over. I’m incredibly grateful. As a wedding photographer, Coopers Hall is one of those venues you get excited for in Portland. It's not just that it's always a beautiful layout and design as-is, or that the food is always exceptional, but the space is perfect for guests and family to connect. It just "feels" Portland. One of my favorite parts of a wedding day at Coopers Hall is blending in with guests during cocktail hour, as they share laughter and tasty snacks. A quick step outside for evening photos with the couple is convenient, but most importantly, the staff and venue makes it SO easy for everyone to enjoy one another. I've photographed many weddings at Coopers Hall, and the attached photos are just from a handful!

Choosing Cooper's Hall as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding! Wedding planning is stressful but the staff at Cooper's Hall did so much to mitigate that stress. We worked with Coral as our day of coordinator, however, she was in communication with us from start to finish. She was always happy to answer our seemingly silly questions. She is extremely professional and communicative. On the day of, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Half the time I had no idea what was going on, but Coral would appear to queue us to the next step of the night. She took the time to learn who our friends and family are so that she could respectfully direct them as well. Leading up to your big day, you will be invited to a tasting night to try the seasonal menu, samples wines, meet other couples, and make your selections for your event. It was such a lovely experience for us. Multiple guests told us that the food was the best that they had ever had at a wedding. It is not your traditional bland wedding food! All of the staff at Cooper's Hall are excellent. The wait staff are extremely attentive and efficient, the food was exceptional and the bar staff were amazing as well. They truly think of everything so that you don't have to worry on the day of. Wedding's are expensive, but my husband and I both felt that it was money well spent for the experience that we had. If you are looking for an urban, romantic venue that is low-stress, I don't think you will be disappointed with Cooper's Hall!

As a Portland wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure of working at Coopers Hall for many years, and it continues to be one of my favorite venues to photograph weddings. The team is always professional and friendly which makes such a difference on a busy wedding day. The space itself is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and runs incredibly smoothly from start to finish, creating a wonderful experience for couples and vendors alike. The food at Coopers Hall truly stands out—it is consistently some of the most delicious and well-executed food I’ve experienced at any wedding venue. Guests always rave about it, and it’s clear that a great deal of care goes into every detail. Coopers Hall is an exceptional venue with an outstanding team, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We hosted our 2023 event at Cooper’s Hall’s Northeast location and were so impressed that we chose their larger location for our company party this year, and wow, they somehow exceeded our already high expectations. Everything was stunning! The space itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the entire experience felt elevated from start to finish. The team was phenomenal to work with, and Coral, our point of contact, was everything we wanted (needed) and more. She was responsive, organized, and made the planning process seamless. What really set Cooper’s Hall apart was their attention to detail and genuine care for our group. They accommodated over a dozen unique dietary needs with thoughtful and equitable options so everyone felt included. All of that with NO worry or added costs, which is no small task. Our team felt heard, taken care of, and valued. And the FOOD…absolutely incredible. All of my employees had commented on how delicious everything was. We typically rotate venues each year for variety, but Cooper’s Hall has earned our loyalty. We’ll be back for years to come. A true 5-star experience from beginning to end.

I had the pleasure of hosting our company celebration at Coopers Hall, where 100-ish attendees had the BEST TIME, and the Coopers Hall team made me look so good! Everything from start to finish was AMAZING!! I worked with Coral ahead of time and she made everything so simple; from customizing my event layout, to working with my budget restrictions and I have to say, having food, beverage, & furniture all in house was a huge win!! **ALSO, THE FOOD WAS SOOOO DELICIOUS!!!** Amber was our day of coordinator and I can't stress enough how ON IT she was!! From small tweaks to the set up, event timeline adjustments, or managing her extremely professional and friendly staff, Amber was the BEST!! I will 100% recommend Coopers Hall and their team over and over!!
