Great experience! Besides being a nice upscale restaurant at reasonable prices, the best part for us was the gluten-free options. Our daughter has celiac so no gluten. They provided a special menu with all gluten-free dishes, and even the bread & butter for the table was gluten-free - a first for us! (they also gave us regular bread & butter). It was a special experience for her and us, and we will seek our Coopers Hawk whenever nearby.

As a wedding vendor, in the industry since 2015, I’ve had the unique opportunity to experience dozens of venues throughout the Pacific Northwest. I can say without hesitation that Coopers Hall is my favorite venue in Portland! The team operates with a professionalism and grace that sets each event up for success; it truly feels like you’re working alongside friends- in a space that speaks for itself. I strongly recommend Coopers Hall for corporate events, destination weddings and celebrations that want to take advantage of being in close proximity to Portland hotels & nightlife. 10/10

As a fellow wedding vendor, we can assure you that the team at Coopers Hall has you covered! They make it so incredibly easy for us to deliver and set up events with our mutual clients- which is rather hard to find in downtown locations. The charm of the space is also top notch with all the living plants. Worth a visit if you are planning a special event!

Coopers Hall is truly a top-notch wedding venue. Jennifer was great to work with and very responsive and flexible to our needs. The food is AMAZING. We had many people tell us that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. All servers and bartenders were lovely to interact with. We could not be happier with our experience with Coopers Hall. We highly recommend them for your wedding!

Coopers Hall is the best. I am a wedding photographer and have shot numerous celebrations at Coopers Hall with only great experiences to share. They are wonderful to work with, treat everyone (even the vendors) with great respect and dignity and have such lovely spaces for events to take place in. If you are looking for an amazing space close to downtown Portland and walking distance to several hip hotels, Coopers Hall is tough to beat!

Highly recommend this place. I've been to events at both their locations (The other is on NE Broadway). The chefs are fantastic. The food was served family style in both cases. It seems they cater out desserts but that works well because you get excellent desserts. The ambiance is nice and the staff are helpful My only critique is that the acoustics weren't ideal at the 6th avenue location as it was hard to hear sometimes. We had a band at the Broadway venue and that worked out well and sound was great. A great option for hosting your event in town!

My wife and I got married at Coopers Hall, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. First off, the food was absolutely outstanding—everyone at our wedding raved about it, saying it was the best they’d ever had. Even our vendors couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the food was! The wine selection was another standout, with a fantastic collection. Everything we had there was outstanding. The staff at Coopers Hall is exceptional. We worked with Coral throughout the planning process, and she kept everything perfectly organized. On the day of the event, Dane was our main point of contact, and he ensured everything ran smoothly. The entire team went above and beyond, and we couldn’t have been happier with the service. Coopers Hall is top-notch!

We hosted our wedding in September 2023 at Coopers Hall. We picked this venue for their full-circle service, beautiful atmosphere and tasty local food. Wedding planning can be stressful, but Coopers Hall had it all- we were minimal with decor since the venue itself is so beautifully set up, the food was INCREDIBLE (they adjusted their menu to provide passed appetizers all night rather than a full sit-down meal, and our guests LOVED it), and Coral was wonderful to work with as our day-of-coordinator. Not only that, but the staff here is so fantastic that they even had a relationship with our photographer from previous events she had been a part of. From start to finish we were thrilled with our event.

Nice venue for event hosting. Can accommodate enough people for a large party. Somewhat limited menu options for plant based/vegan people, which was a starch & and some smothered carrots. Lots of the vegetarian dishes were pasta. Not a lot in the way of green vegetables, unfortunately. More fried food then I'd like, but quite soulful looking. Great presentation of menu items.

Every single thing about having our wedding at Coopers Hall was PERFECT!! The space was beautiful. The food was immaculate. The staff was so warm, friendly, and professional. Our point of contact, Coral, was a joy to work with every step of the way and ensured that everything went perfectly. She even helped us with things we never even thought of like a marquee display in the venue and planning special meals for dietary restrictions. If you're getting married or having an event in the Portland area, do yourself a favor and check out Coopers Hall. You'll be glad you did.
