Fruit wasn't very fresh. French toast was bland. Asked for eggs over easy and got over well. Wait staff was a bit slow and inattentive despite having only a few guests, e.g. took 10-15 minutes to get drinks from draught. The "Chopped" salad with roasted chicken, mixed greens, and mustard based dressing was really good.
Delicious! Well kept secret! Everything I’ve had here at any time of day has been great! From cafe to lunch to dinner! And great atmosphere! So many nice servers, all have been so nice to my pup! I’m fortunate to live upstairs (the Hilton tapestry/Sound Hotel is also upstairs).
I love a good hotel restaurant. Food and drinks were great, but the service put this place over the top. The level of friendly and consistent service is reminiscent of the handful of times I have stayed at a high end resort. The staff members are friendly, happy, attentive and authentic, and it makes a huge difference. Good job!
This review is ONLY for the continental breakfast provided as part of a hotel stay with Sound Hotel. I’ve been to a lot of continental breakfasts. This takes the cake as the worst. The offerings are so minimal, no toaster, yogurt overly sour, etc. I can’t believe it’s $15 for this garbage. Save yourself some trouble and if you have breakfast credit order something else, PLEASE.
I stayed at this hotel for several days. Hotel is amazing, but not this restaurant. I ate their food every morning. But one of the days, I took out food to eat at my room and did not leave any tip. But guess what, they added flat $5.00 on the tip. After talking with hotel front desk, they looked through the invoice, and removed it. Have I not reviewed the invoice, I would've paid this without knowing. It's called FRAUD
When I arrived I was too tired to go anywhere. I was glad there was an onsite restaurant. The fries were delicious and the drinks were mixed just right. Service was stellar as well.
Small menu for meal times but every selection hits the taste buds. Super chill environment that's great for a rainy day and if you're staying at the hotel.
Morning is good each time you walking into this place. Enough space for visitors (see photo) Nice choice of snacks. What a stylish barista is there! Coffee is very good quality. Recommend for breakfasts
Do you like Tomato Basil soup? I have scoured the world for the best and this is it! The atmosphere is Chic and modern while hosting a warm and cozy fireplace off to one side. Probably the best kept secret in Seattle. They also host an off list treasure trove of hand crafted cocktails. The best on the list? Perhaps the Violet Vesper.
Wow! Not a huge menu or dining area, but I just had a marvelous meal. They were out of gluten free bread options, but fortunately had several vegetable dishes that sounded interesting. Each one tasted amazing and exceeded my expectations - especially the portion size of broccolini, which had awesome flavor from the shaved cheese and just the right amount of spicy kick. I sat down 5 minutes before the end of happy hour, but my server was nice enough to ask if I wanted to choose something from that menu before it ended to save a few bucks. Theresa - she provided great hospitality and conversation. I was already satisfied with the quality of the hotel, and this meal just put it over the top to convince me to stay here again.
