We came for breakfast which was not busy. We waited a long time after being seated. I had to ask for a server. We ordered french toast. They brought it out and they told us they have no syrup. Never mentioned it prior to ordering. We then waited again for the server which we had to go look for her to pay. Bad service altogether.
Food looked and tasted great. The service however was oddly very poor. Especially given we were the only 2 customers they had.
We came here twice for breakfast while staying at the attached Sound Hotel in early August. The coffee was good. We got eggs both days. They were ok. The fruit bowl was a generous portion and tasted fresh. One day it seemed like we waited over a half an hour after ordering to get the food - we may have just missed a morning rush or maybe they were short staffed. We had some daily credit for food and beverage from the hotel so I don’t believe we paid more than $10/person outside of that. The menu is limited but overall this was good for hotel breakfast.
Went to a wonderful Drag Brunch today during the Pride Parade. The food was delicious with lots of variety. Mimosas, Espresso martinis, Jell-O shots, great service and live entertainment. What more can you ask for?!
A very solid breakfast experience while I stayed at the Sound hotel. Fresh ingredients, tasty options and great service. I live in the area now and would consider dining here again. Recommended.
This restaurant is fine, but the service is inconsistent. For example, for dinner and happy hour, the service the last two days was great, especially the bartender, Lennon, who is amazing. But breakfast this morning was not so great. We ordered corned beef hash for breakfast. It wasn’t bad but half of it was hash browns. And the corned beef came in 3/4 inch cubes. It was as if the kitchen staff just dumped two sides together. Not great and, hopefully, forgettable. But back to the inconsistent service. The staff at breakfast this morning was not attentive. We wanted more coffee. There were three servers around. Whenever any one of them came toward us, they would suddenly look the other way. Twice as one of them walked by, I attempted to get their attention to no avail. We should have gone somewhere else for breakfast.
We reserved the area in front of the fireplace for our family Christmas. Everything was absolutely perfect! The manager kept in touch before and after to make sure we had a great experience. The service was impeccable; I felt like we were important and didn't feel rushed. I was able to pre-order food and wine so everything was ready when we arrived. The atmosphere was perfect, beautifully decorated, soft chairs, and a cozy fire. We spent about $100 per person, including wine and champagne, which I felt was a steal for what we got! We had Christmas by the fireplace with no hassle! I didn't have to clean the house, decorate for Christmas, cook, do dishes, or clean up afterwards. We couldn't have had a more perfect Christmas.
I guess it must be due to currant bistro coming out of the covid pandemic - wasn't exactly thrilled with both their happy hour and regular dinner menus as they are full of vegetarian dishes (needless to say, their menus are quite ideal for vegetarians and vegans, but prosciutto and seafood are the only options for protein food items for meal/seafood diners). Service by the bartender was pretty nice and it was his service was what made my dining experience worthwhile. Just wish my manhattan was a bit better.
Classic options and good service. Nice clean space too
Darian at the sound bite bar is a really good bartender was AMAZING; She is a very charming person who is very fun to talk to and makes very tasty drinks.
