I usually interact with the pharmacy for my medication and for my caregiving client's prescriptions, not the shopping aspect. I do occasionally make beverage or food purchases and the odd cold & flu regimen. My only suggestion for the 701 VanNess CVS is to expand your bottled water and snacks. The pharmacy doc, Glenn, is always very personable and efficient, as are the rest of the pharmacy personnel. Those people deserve a raise! 🌞
They won’t answer the phones or return calls. It shouldn’t be so hard to get in touch with a pharmacy

I have visited the CVS Pharmacy on Van Ness several times, and on multiple occasions I have observed interactions that felt unprofessional and discourteous toward customers. The female staff members are not native English speakers, which is completely understandable and not an issue in itself. However, when customers ask them to repeat something because they did not hear or understand it, the response is often impatient or dismissive. I have witnessed situations where customers were spoken to in a condescending manner or met with smirks and visible frustration. As a customer, this creates an uncomfortable environment. I feel anxious whenever I need to visit this location because I often expect to witness an argument or receive a negative reaction simply for asking a routine question, such as how long it will take for a prescription to be ready. I understand that pharmacy staff work under significant pressure, but respectful communication is an important part of patient care. I hope this feedback can be used to improve the customer experience at this location.
"We have been missionaries for 30 years, and while visiting the Bay Area on vacation, we needed to track down the Mpox vaccination for our return to a high-risk region. This was the only pharmacy in the area that had it in stock. It is an exceptionally well-managed pharmacy with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Glenn was especially helpful and well-informed, which we deeply appreciated. After three decades of international travel, we know a great clinic when we see one—highly recommended."
Don’t answer calls from doctors anymore. I have been trying to address an issue with one of my patient’s medication for a week now after they dispensed the wrong medication dose and nothing. Be careful using them because this is a really unsafe practice.
The absolute worst pharmacy experience. Every single time I come into this pharmacy, they either don't have my prescription ready when they say they will, or the line is literally out the door. Never more than one person working behind the counter at any given time, despite the fact they have two counters available. Go out of your way to go somewhere else and save yourself your sanity.
They gave me wrong meds, which could have worse my situation. A lil bit miscommunication . Just be careful
