Double D Ranch

I recently visited Double D Ranch in the Stockyards, excited to film content for my western wear channel, but the experience was deeply disappointing. Upon entering, I was ignored by the staff despite making eye contact. When was finally asked to try on a dress, I was directed to use the bathroom instead of a proper fitting room, which was incredibly disappointed given the price point of the garments and the lack of a full-length mirror.To make matters worse, I was offered a drink in the bathroom, and the staff's attention shifted entirely to other customers, leaving me waiting at the register while another customer even mistook me for an employee. It was disheartening to watch others receive attentive service in the actual fitting rooms while I was treated as an afterthought. I felt unwelcome throughout my visit. I expected a premium experience, but instead, I left feeling judged and dismissed.My family and friends are right; given the premium price point of their clothing, I expect a level of service that reflects that respect and not a dismissive experience that makes me feel unwelcome.

I’ve struggled with writing this because I genuinely enjoy the store and have had some great experiences with a few of the associates. However, I’ve now been in the store multiple times and have had repeated uncomfortable interactions with the same associate. The first time, I was trying on a leather jacket, and she was extremely close and hovering over me throughout the experience. Both my husband and I felt so uncomfortable that we ultimately decided to leave. The second time, she immediately started a fitting room for me and brought me another size, the whole interaction felt very commission based. And what made that interaction more frustrating is that the jacket I was considering was significantly more expensive than the purchase she ultimately assisted me with. During that second visit, my husband also wasn’t offered water, and when I got home, I realized I hadn’t received the promotional scarf that was supposed to come with my purchase. I want to emphasize that there are several associates who are wonderful and provide an excellent experience. Unfortunately, there is one associate whose approach has consistently made us uncomfortable, and after multiple experiences. So for now, I think I’ll avoid visiting the store on Saturdays, as I’d really like to continue shopping with the associates who make the experience enjoyable.

What a lovely day it was at the beautiful Double D Ranch! Stopped by and immediately was greeted and felt welcomed. Molly and Team were very nice and courteous towards my fiancé and I. Some jewelry and iron-on patches were purchased. Super excited for the next time we go in!

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience during my recent visit to your store. I drove in from Houston specifically for the Fort Worth Rodeo, as well as to do some shopping and enjoy lunch at the Stockyards. I’ve heard great things about your store from friends, and I was excited to check it out. While the store itself has beautiful items, my experience was unfortunately far from pleasant. Upon entering, I was not greeted by any staff members. I made my way to the counter to inquire about a jacket, and both salespeople at the desk seemed uninterested and acted as though I was a bother. When I asked if they carried the item I was looking for, they quickly stated that they didn’t, without even offering to check. When I asked about something similar, their response was the same—an immediate “no,” without any effort to assist further or look into other options. I was truly disappointed by the lack of customer service. Given the high regard I’ve heard for your store, I had expected much better service, especially as a first-time visitor. Based on this experience, I will not be returning, and I felt it was important to bring this matter to your attention.

I was there at the Ft Worth store this past weekend. Tracy and her team there are just the best people. They are friendly, honest, fun Beautiful gals. They take their time with you as a customer and make you feel so spectacular! Tracy has alot of knowledge of the clothes jewelry etc. and knows exactly what size you need. That is way cool!! Thanks Tracy, you're the best ever!!!

One of my favorite stores in the stockyards! Gorgeous clothes (great range of sizes XS to 2x, boots and accessories ! They have the most friendly and helpful salespeople. A great selection of jewelry especially Native American pieces. If you’re a Guy they have so many pieces that are truly unisex. Their clothes just make you feel awesome!!! My friend and I had a great time when we came in this past weekend! I was unable to purchase something this time, the woman at the counter gave me a catalog and said they had a website. I cannot wait to come back and purchase something. Everyone I met was so kind and easy to talk to, you guys have a new customer!

I had an incredible time in Double D Ranch today with my friends. The clothing, shoes, and accessories were swoon-worthy but the real treat was meeting Megan and Tracy. These two made us feel so welcome and at home in their beautiful store and I cannot recommend this spot enough! Defs plan a visit when visiting the Stockyard 😍
