Elemental Energy

The entire experience with Elemental Energy was top notch! This is the second home I have with solar panels, and there isn't another solar company I could imagine doing business with. Josh, their lead solar tech, is very informed, service-oriented and does a great and thorough job answering all questions. The install team was punctual, friendly and got the job done within the estimated timeframe. Support throughout the process was responsive, and I always felt well taken care of. They were also very open and accommodating to my feedback on design and overall system performance. I'll definitely be in touch with them when I need storage capacity, EV for a car or another set of panels on a future home. Highly recommend!

After having a leak in my roof in December, I decided to get the house reroofed as the roof was at the end of its life span. We purchased our house in late 2023 and the vendor that originally installed the solar panels was long out of business. I called several solar companies and got multiple bids. We have 40 panels and all of the quotes were within ~$100.00. (For reference the quotes covered removal, reinstallation, and new mounting hardware.) We selected Elemental based on how they discussed the project and their knowledge of the Enphase system we have. I give them high marks for professionalism. The technicians that did the work contacted me before and after each day. They did a great job coordinating with the roofing contractor for smooth reroofing process. I have switched the Enphase maintainer to Elemental and will likely work with them in the future to add battery storage to my system.

Elemental Energy is a first class company. Their outstanding staff guided us through the process from the moment of our initial contact until the system became operational. They continue to check back with us to ensure our satisfaction is fully met. The solar array they installed on our property works perfectly and exceeds all our expectations.

i had an amazing experience working with Spencer Hutchinson and Elemental on my home solar project! I got bids from multiple outfits and Elemental was without a doubt the right choice. Highly knowledgeable, made things super clear, and their approach was “no pressure.” Pricing was competitive, and they made sure to design the system that met my needs within my budget. Install process was smooth and the crew was friendly and accommodating when we had to schedule around a napping infant. I have zero hesitation in recommending Elemental!

Highly recommend Elemental! They were slightly more expensive than the other company I considered but I chose them because I'd heard such good things about their customer service -- and I'm glad I did. It was such a smooth process and they were excellent every step of the way. Right on time, no issues. And I love my new solar system! Definitely pick them if you're installing solar

Anthony at Elemental Energy is great! We purchased a house that had solar panels installed, and he was instrumental in helping us figure out how to navigate switching the Enphase profile over to us as the new owners. He was very kind and patient, explaining how the system works, how to navigate the app, and how to care for our solar panels. Highly recommend Elemental Energy.

In 2023 Elemental Energy installed 18 solar panels which reduced our winter energy bill and yielded zero electrical bills for another 6-8 months. Elemental was extremely understanding with our insurance company's slow payments following a guest appearance of two 2' by 80' fir trees during the "big storm" of January 2024 that destroyed almost half the panels. But the situation also revealed once again the fine competence of their crews, coordinated by Aaron, Solar Consultant and Anthony, Solar Installation. "Let the sun shine in." It's Elemental.

I don't normally give 5 star reviews, but these guys met all of my expectations and even went beyond what I expected. I dealt with 4 other contractors during the bidding phase, and Elemental came across as the most trustworthy and earnest, able to frankly answer my questions and concerns. The site assessment, design phase, installation, permitting, & scheduling all went smoothly, with only the slightest of hiccups. I was particularly happy with the installation crew (which appeared to be their employees, not a subcontracted group). I haven't gone through a full annual cycle to make an assessment as to whether the location of the panels were truly optimal for my situation - SE & SW facing roof faces at different pitches, but I was walked through the simulated results of other alternatives, and their design seemed optimal. I don't know if they install brands other than REC panels & Enphase inverters, but I specifically went with them because that was the pairing I wanted. Because I wanted to have the panels up before the peak production months, I decided not to get a battery do to concerns about delayed permitting, which might have been a mistake on my part. But, overall, everyone that I dealt with at the company was professional and seemed genuinely interested in providing the best possile service to me as a customer. They seem to represent what I like about Portland. Recommended.

Elemental Energy is exceptional--respectful, very effective, friendly, informative and, ABOVE ALL, HONEST. Not to mention, exceptionally reasonable pricing! They just completed a 13 panel solar array, worked well with us, and PGE, honored our questions and concerns and followed up in an amazingly timely fashion. Out of 5 stars, they deserve 10!!!
