Very knowledgeable inspector that conducted the review and up the repair plan. Got his boss on the phone and price matched another company while providing a stronger product. The crew that come to install the repairs was BEYOND professional and respectful. They kept me aware of any possible issue they had and asked permission before anything was adjusted or finalized. Definitely would recommend.
The quality of workmanship was exceptional and the attitude of the three men working on our house was outstanding.
Made rookie mistakes with a fairly simple project. Gave another opportunity to make corrections. Improper installation again! Owner refused accountability for new issues after 2 botched installs and now is refusing to share a copy of their surety bond. 20 years ago this was a reputable company. Under the newer ownership, I wouldn't trust Engineered Solutions of Georgia to repair a dog house!
I had a great experience with this team. They LISTENED to what I needed, and it ended up saving me THOUSANDS of dollars. They were thorough in their explanation of what they would be doing and how it would fix my problem. It was a fantastic experience, and they will be my first call should I have any additional needs. I had a very bad experience with Engineered Solutions of Georgia (ESOG) in Smyrna, GA. They repaired my cracking foundation wall in June 2015 with a lifetime warranty. The wall continued cracking shortly after, and now it's in worse shape than before. Despite complaints and a BBB report, ESOG refuses to honor the warranty. Avoid for foundation work.
E.S.O.G. presented a clear explanation of their recommendation, a detailed estimate and set of drawings, arrived on time to perform the work, explained the work they were going to complete, provided a walk thru once the work was completed and cleaned up the worksite. Very pleased with the crew (Justin and Team) and with Marc. Foundation drain installed for 50+ feet of finished and unfinished basement.
I am a licensed architect, and I had a 1/4” wide crack in my home’s brick veneer due to differential settlement. I hesitated to get it addressed because I was concerned that the cost might outweigh the benefit. Happily, ESOG solved the issue for a very reasonable cost, did a thorough job, and were a polite and professional bunch of folks to do business with. If you have an issue like mine, don’t wait until it becomes a bigger problem. Call them out and get ‘er done. I was very impressed by this group.
I was concerned about a possible foundation issue with my home. Engineered solutions of Georgia came out and informed me that the foundation was fine and did not try to sell me an expensive fix. At most the issue is an eyesore that can basically be patched over.
I had an extremely frustrating experience with ESOG. The first technician, Allan Wait, came out and provided an incomplete repair estimate for only 2 units in our crawlspace, despite being presented with a structural engineer’s report clearly stating that all 12 units in our condo have water damage, rot, and sloping issues that require urgent repair to prevent further damage. The full scope of the issue was communicated multiple times via email before the visit, during the visit, and again afterward. Despite this, he refused to return to complete the estimate and was quite unprofessional. I then left six messages for the office manager requesting a call back and received no response. After several more calls, I was finally able to reach her. She apologized and scheduled another technician to come out a week later but he never showed up. I called again multiple times before finally getting through. She apologized again, stating she didn’t know why no one showed up and that nothing had been entered into the system. She scheduled yet another technician. Today, that technician also did not show up. At this point, it’s clear there is a serious lack of professionalism, communication, and reliability. Do NOT use this company. They seem to pick and choose when to show up, and repeated failures like this are unacceptable especially when dealing with serious structural issues. Beware!
Everyone at Engineered Solutions of Georgia was incredible to work with! From the first set up call to the estimates and then the final work, nothing but excellence! They rerouted water from the roof and around the house away from our home and permanently fixed the leaks in our basement and came up with a solution to our basement wall which was starting to push in. All lifetime guarantees. I wish I went with them to begin with. I can't say enough good things about them. Justin, Jacob and the entire crew were the best!
