Initially I was very impressed with this company. This property had serious flooding issues. This was the 4th company to come out but the only company who let me make the decision on my own without pressure. The contract was honored. The engineer contacted me to let me know he was on the way. The job was estimated to take 3 days and it did. The communication was outstanding. They saved the wall insulation so I could Re-use it. They cleaned up afterwards. They even had a dumpster. Quality work and done properly. Really appreciate it. My one wish: that they jackhammered along the grout lines. I’m not sure if that was possible. PLEASE READ: Update: 1/9/24 Terrible rain storms hit our area. And guess what? There’s water in our basement!!! How disappointed were we to see water seeping in. I called ESOG. They asked if we lost power. We did not. We had people working using the electricity. We did not lose power. They assured me someone would come out the next day: 1/10/24. 1/10/24- no call, no show. 1/11/24- no call, no show.- It rained on Thursday and more water. Friday 1/12/24 I call ESOG and ask when would they send someone. They gave me the number of one engineer who then sent me the number of another engineer. They finally do show, only to tell me that the pump was unplugged. I don’t believe that for one moment. What I do know is this system was expensive but currently doesn’t work. I don’t want water in the house. We are hoping that ESOG will stand by their word . I will return with updates as necessary. Update: 1/17/2024 ESOG returned to resolve the trench issue. It has not rained yet. Once it does I will see if the system is functioning.

Engineered Solutions of Georgia did a terrific job from beginning to end. Bruce Stockdale came to my home and thoroughly inspected and measured to accurately determine what was needed to correct my issue. He explained the repair process and answered my questions. The crew that did the work were on-time, polite and professional. The repair was made and they left the space clean and tidy. Great job ESOG!

Engineered Solutions delivered exactly what I needed, exactly when I needed it. I was on a tight deadline closing on my home, and their team stepped in like seasoned pros. They installed a drainage system in my garage with precision, efficiency, and a level of professionalism that deserves real recognition. They were prompt, affordable, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. No runaround, no surprises — just solid execution and a team that knows how to get the job done right the first time. They came through in the nick of time and truly saved the day. Highly recommend them for anyone who needs reliable, quality work done without the stress.

I'm not sure what to say at this point. After getting approximately five estimates where two could not accommodate my basement bedroom leak, but three were able to, I chose the one that would tear up less of my home. I cannot tell if I made the right decision because, since the first day on the job, 3/3/22, ESOG Waterproofing company installed an exterior drainage system by digging the concrete driveway I had installed. Still, they didn't accommodate enough "pitch" and downpour of rain, my basement room flooded after the first rain, so their service manager Keith C. had to come out. Some of the same crew came back the following week on Friday, 3/11/22, to fix the leak and make serious adjustments since the first visit. Well, after this job, and the next time it rained, I now have more water than ever! My basement was in one inch of still water, the systems in place didn't work, and the water started spreading to other rooms (the bathroom and the second bedroom). I'm disheartened, frustrated, damn near depressed, and ultimately disappointed and unsure of this company. Besides this, they installed a very large sump pump in my main bedroom that is not aesthetically pleasing and they told me I would have to pay for. I am losing tons of money since I cannot rent my AirBnB space, I cannot travel for work, and I have to be here when they work. Also, did I mention that after hours and on weekends you cannot reach anyone, although the answering service gives you two people to call and their cell numbers?

We had Engineered Solutions of Georgia come out and give us an estimate on foundation repair. We then added a vapor barrier to the quote. Zach was very helpful, friendly and nice. He listened and even told us we didn't need some things we thought we did. We signed the contract on Friday, Mar 6, 2026. ESOG had a job in our area starting Monday, Mar 9, 2026 (we were told) so we were told we should be on the schedule for that week. On Mar 10, I texted to see the status of our schedule and did not get a response. Today, one week later, Mar 13, 2026, we have yet to hear from anyone! No one called after we submitted the “contract” to schedule a start date, or collect the deposit they wanted. I had texted and called on Tuesday, Mar 10, 2026 to see if we had been scheduled and let Zach know we had not heard from anyone. On Mar 11, I texted him again, and sent an email to him and Kevin Jordan, Sales Support Manager. Reminding them we cancelled the contract, and I asked to be sent confirmation of cancellation. On Mar 12, 2026 I texted again and emailed again, again-asking for confirmation of cancelled contract. I also called the office on Mar 12, and left a message with Mike? (I was transferred to him after I explained to Samantha (at the office) what was going on) As of today, Mar 13, 2026 at 3:00 pm, we have still yet to hear from anyone in the company. I highly recommend not paying up front, If this is the way they do business. thank goodness they never contacted us on that either. Not a good way to do business! We signed contract and they did not follow thru on their end.

Tim reached out to me right away and came out to take a look at what needed to be done. He wasn’t trying to upsell me and told me exactly what I needed and explained it throughly. He also followed up with me to make sure the job was done correctly and that I was satisfied. They put me on the schedule right away. Juan came out with his crew and explained everything to me and they were finished within a day. Once they were done they cleaned up nicely and it was liked they were never here. Great people to work with. Thanks!

Pros: Many of the team members are friendly and polite. Cons: 0% success rate on work actual done on our property after over $20k in projects. Quality of work does not shine as a priority in my experience with working with them. The floors are still sloped because they put the supporting posts underneath the wrong room. They then said they needed to add another project to put them in the correct place in order to address our original issue. Now the sloping has actually gotten worse. The concrete footings on another project had no rebar and were poured too shallow of depth causing them to fail. Some posts weren't even supported by the footings--using a 2x4 instead to make up the difference. Some of the joists were cut too short, but they still tried to screw in anchors which caused the new joists to fracture. Good luck trying to get a hold of the warranty department and then getting the crew back out to make any repairs. What did the "warranty crew" do once they arrived 6 hours late from their appointment window? They didn't pour new concrete footings with rebar--instead they installed plastic footings mostly designed for decks or gazebos. ESOG will say these are code-compliant, but after seeing these footings just sitting loosely on top of the soil with no lateral support I knew there had to be a catch. Yep, the ICC paper states that these footings are required to be installed with at least 12" of compacted soil on top in order to be code-compliant and any other installation is not compliant. One of their posts on the new footing is already leaning just days after the replacement (picture shown). After speaking with one of the owners of ESOG he claimed he wasn't aware of that installation requirement even though it's clearly stated in the paper. I worry about how many of these footings they have incorrectly installed throughout Atlanta especially since I'm sure many customers don't have the physical means to inspect the work done in their own crawlspaces.

Engineered Solutions of Georgia did everything that they said they would and then some. Their team consisted of Jared, Louis, James, Michael, and Davion. Jared was the first person to arrive on-site and explained everything in detail of the job. He answered all of my questions thoroughly. The day before the job, Louis texted to verify that everything was good on our part for tomorrow's job. The next day, the lead person on the job, James, explained everything that they were going to do to correct the foundation and encouraged us to watch and ask any questions we had. Couldn't find a more skilled and knowledgeable person than James Figueroa. James' team of Michael and Davion were extremely hardworking and friendly as well. We apologize if we misspelled Davion's name. You couldn't find a more hardworking and personable team. After the job was completed, they went above and beyond to cleanup the jobsite. We were very impressed with the total job. As I said previously, they did what they said they were going to do and did a great job!

Engineered Solutions of Georgia was a great company to do business with, providing professional and excellent service. Starting with my initial contact over the phone, the home assessment and consultation, and the final work project made this home repair less stressful. Special thanks to Jake, Justin, Luna and the entire engineering team and staff.

First-rate experience with ESOG from start to finish. Everyone involved with the project of replacing external chimney supports at my home was a great communicator. I knew what work needed to be done and the timeline for doing it at every step. No surprises whatsoever. Shout out to Lee, Douglas, and Justin (and crew) for doing a great job. Highly recommend this company.
