The food here was really good. It's a good little bit to choose from on the menu. Came here for the first time, and I wasn't disappointed at all. They had wonderful customer service and a huge dessert menu to choose from.
This place is an experience you must have! It started when we’re driving by, and we could smell the fabulous bread smell half a mile down the road. We ran our errand, and then quickly headed back to eat here. It just smelled SO GOOD. Our waiter tonight was John C, and he was lovely. Fabulous attitude & funny guy. He gave us excellent customer service, even though the place was packed for their 2 for 1 happy hour. All the staff actually seemed to be working their butts off & paying attention to the details. After I ordered a vegetarian sandwich with a German potato salad, Desiree came out of the back to confirm— turns out the German potato salad I had read so much about (on the reviews) actually has bacon! So I switched that out for the American instead (which is vegetarian). She also went out of her way to find us a stray Carrot Cake cookie, since they appeared to be out, and my partner loves Carrot Cake and is allergic to nuts— so he can’t have the real thing. Everything we ate was wonderful. I was especially surprised by the Athena’s Gift sandwich. It’s a gluten-free, raw vegan sausage with cashew cheese. I didn’t expect a fake-sausage to be cold, but other than that I loved it. The seed bread was impressive too— normally that kind of thing tastes or feels like cardboard, but it was soft & delicious! In addition to the case of fresh desserts, they also have lots of retro candy! I was thinking of stocking-stuffers when we bought our Grateful Dead bar. They also have PEZ dispensers (is that showing my age?), Bottle Caps, Oreo Candy Canes, etc. For dessert I had an Italian Lemon Crème cake & the Vegan Mocha Love. The Lemon Crème was fluffier than it looked— like angel food cake and lemon cheesecake. The Vegan Mocha had coconut, which was unexpected, and had a nice coffee-like chocolate flavor. So many fun details here. Each table has a different country map on it & they have an old-style airport flip board that displays different quotes. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we will definitely be back!
This place is indescribable. The extremely cold beer, excellent service, clean bathroom, variety of food. I loved meeting you and I'll definitely be back on another Sunday afternoon for a happy hour
Everyone was so nice here. They have amazing sweets right in front of the counter when you walk in (right now there is construction in front of the building.) But everything I have tried, even the beer, (they only serve beer and wine) has been fantastic
The food was excellent!! So many tasty menu choices that I know we will be back to try other meals! Many different drink options and then then dessert bar.....OMG!!! You will not be disappointed!
Great local spot. BOGO brews most of every day, crazy big menu, great staff. ... Wish they had a flattop so they could do reubens properly. 9/10 def recommend
Great place to eat especially if your a soup and sandwich person. They have a greF menu and I go at least twice a month. They have BOGO beers for happy hour and many kinds on tap You can sit inside or out.
Chose to host my husband's surprise retirement party at his favorite lunch spot, European St Cafe. Kimberly, E-Street staff was so responsive, kind & helpful at helping me plan the event, allowing me to bring in some decorations and guiding me through the food selection process. And Lisa our server/host assisted me with the seating layout etc., food placement and drink selection and was praised by our entire group for her outstanding service and kindness! Bravos to all at E Street that contributed to a wonderful retirement send off!!
This was a great little place for dinner with an amazing looking bakery, along with different types of German chocolates and a bunch of beers. We had the sausage sampler and the large wiener hot dog with the sauerkraut and German potato salad. The food was delicious and served fast by our super attentive waitress.
What a lovely place to relax and enjoy some great food. Robyn was our waitress and loved her recommendations. The Ruben Special and Croissant cordon blue was very good and well presented. Their mustards are very good, you can purchase them at the counter along with the wonderful desserts.
