Lovely place I went to for an early lunch with family. The food and service were very nice, and the establishment was clean and spacious. Loved the dessert display windows and the nostalgic candy section they have. I recommend the Creme Brulee cheesecake for a dessert choice, but they have many other options, such as cookies and cakes. I'd say go early if you can because parking can fill up quickly. Wonderful options for food, definitely recommend this place for a nice outing or friendly lunch meet up etc.

We don’t live in town, but every time we come to Jacksonville, we come to European Street for lunch. Our waiter, Monarch, we had the pleasure of having the last two years while we were in town. He makes the entire meal worth the trip! Great job Monarch, and of course the European street food is fantastic. Love the spicy mustard!
My wife and I have lived in Jacksonville for four years and somehow never tried European Street Cafe until now. We honestly can’t believe what we’ve been missing. From the moment we walked in, the place felt warm and welcoming. It has that authentic European charm you rarely find, cozy and full of life but still relaxed. The staff were incredible — friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can tell they take pride in what they do and care about every guest who walks through the door. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the sausage platter, and it was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. My wife had the Reuben, and she said it was one of the best she’s ever had. Everything tasted fresh and made with real attention to detail. European Street Cafe has clearly been part of Jacksonville’s story for years, and it shows in all the best ways. It’s a place with history, personality, and heart. Whether you’re after authentic European comfort food, a great beer selection, or just a relaxed meal with wonderful service, this is the spot. Highly recommended. Easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Jacksonville.
Visiting Jacksonville Florida from Boones Mill Virginia and my wonderful Niece told about this place. So glad she did. We had a great lunch and got a yummy dessert to go.
Visiting the area and needed to eat so this spot was in our route and we stopped for an early afternoon lunch. A great little seat-yourself establishment that's been in business for over 40 years! An amazing array of baked goods from oversized traditional cookies to dipped pretzels, cakes, and brownies adorned the front display case that then wraps around to an assortment of candy which then slides your eye to a large drink cooler with individual bottled selections. Our server promptly came over and We had the pretzel sticks, falafel pita and Brie and fruit tray. Everything was amazing and super fresh. Learned that many of their ingredients are locally sourced and made in-house. Clean, small dining area with additional tables along the front window overlooking the outside walkway. Service was great, ours spoke very highly of the establishment, the owners, food quality and employee longevity. Something many other businesses are lacking today. Look no further -- Hats off, grab a seat, order a beer (good selection) and eat some great food!

This location had very good service and great food. I tried the Millie’s sandwich on a picklewich and was glad that I did. The pickle had a very mild flavor that perfectly complimented the sandwich. My family was equally pleased with their plates.
Today Saturday at dinner time not very busy but the service was slow and didn't listen to my order asked for water and Diet coke and no saukrought got coke and saukrought. My Bratt was cold it took 15 minutes for food. Ordered cake to go got home and cake was stale like days old. So I spent 58.00 got bad service and cold food. Look Covid is way over i am not coming back
