Music was great, layout was perfect and food was definitely the star of the show and top tier. I will definitely be returning. I got one of the boxes to try a few things and it was perfect for sharing and amazing flavors. Yaki was an amazing server and took good care o lad our party of seven. Definitely a Jacksonville must visit.
I’m so happy they’ve opened a restaurant! I absolutely love it — it truly feels like you’re in Puerto Rico. The decor beautifully captures the island vibe, the alcapurrias are delicious, and the music sets the perfect tone. While the service was a bit slow and the drink selection limited, the staff was friendly and welcoming. I noticed some instruments off to the side and meant to ask if they ever have live band nights. I’ll definitely be back!
This place was amazing! We stumbled on it on Valentine’s Day and we are so happy we did. The staff was amazing, special shoutout to our server Daniel that gave us recommendations and was always attentive and with a smile. Me and my husband could not put our food down. Loveeeeed it
A sliced of Puerto Rico here in Jacksonville! Planning on visiting the island? Stop here first so you can prepare you palate! This place has most of the classic (típico) dishes served in PR! The food you usually get when you are on the go or in party mode. Try the alcapurrias or the empanadillas de Pionono; The "Pifongo" in definitely unique to this place but nonetheless is exquisite. These are all delicious!The passion fruit juice is A+! The music and atmosphere will make you feel as if you arrived to the Island. Add these delicious dishes and you are almost there.
Noooope Service- Horrible. Food- worse. This place is absolutely terrible. The food was so greasy the Department of defense called me. They wanted to invade my plate. The only good thing here was my coke and it was only because they didn’t make it. Tripleta. Horrible dry Had to ask for my kids juice 4 times. Service was so bad Traveled 1.5 hours for this mess Never again
This place is a small piece of Puerto Rico! The food, atmosphere and customer service are top notch.
Went this past Saturday around 1pm and waited almost 1 hour for take out. They didn’t have the guanabana fruit drink but didn’t let me know until my food came out after an hour and so I was waiting in the heat until I opted for the mango drink was was quite sweet. I got the shrimp platter and the shrimp was salty but overall meal was quite good. The tostones with the garlic sauce was the best part of the dish. I paid $16 for the dish the portion were alright had 8 pieces of shrimp, good amount of rice, wish there was more salad. The drink was $3 which was not the most worth. I would probably dine in instead of take out because people who ordered before me got their food way before mine.
Love the food and the ambiance. Wonderful people and food. Thanks f I can make one observation is that the service needs improvement. The staff is supper nice but you wait a bit for them to come to your table and also to receive the check after you are done. Once they staff up it definitely has potential
