The food was bomb. I had the garlic chicken, my buddy got the pork, and my vegetarian wifey had all the delicious sides. If you like Puerto Rican food, this is the spot in Jax.
Es un lugar para tomar, para borrachos y escuchar música, pero la comida y servicio es asquerosa, le dejan pelos a la comida y te dan mal la orden si pides por Doordash, y el dueño en vez de disculparse y ver como puede mejorar te acusa de poner un Review falso, como si uno no tuviera nada mejor que hacer que ponerse a escribir reviews falsos. Picked up my Door dash order and when I got home I realized they served me a little side of casva with sauce on the side instead of the full loco Casva meal that they charged me $20 for. So disorganized with the online service. To top it all off, the other order I placed which was tostones locos was full of several hairs! Owner you're a fool and a liar. You served me food with hair and you got my order wrong, it doesn't matter that I picked it up 2 hours later. Drunks that go in person don't care if you serve food with hair, but people ordering online sure do, and you did charge me damn near 20 for a side of yuca instead of serving me the full loco yuca I paid for!
Disappointed with the tripleta and honestly confused why it was served with tortilla chips. The only reason we stopped was because we were already in the area—definitely not worth going out of the way for. The lettuce was wilted, there was BBQ sauce on it (which was unexpected), and it was missing basic ingredients like pickles and tomato that were listed. We also ordered two empanadas—one camarón and one carrucho since they didn’t have octopus—but both tasted exactly the same, which was disappointing. Overall, this wasn’t the taste of home we were hoping for. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t come back. My hubby said we will not be seeing this place “ni en pintura!”
Cute little spot with a great skirt steak, fried potato balls, empanadas, and more! If you run cold, try to sit in the back though (the ac blast is real in the front seating of the restaurant)
Was by the area for a quick day trip! We don’t have Puerto Rican spots by our area, so glad when we saw this! It was a glorious day when we walked in! The vibe was lively for lunch time! Staff were super helpful and friendly! As far as the food, we enjoyed every single item we ordered! We had mofongo, their “flavorikan box (which was a lot of food), and the Pernil encebollado! The servings were insanely bountiful! It’s a lot of food for the price, so the value Is definitely there! Will have to come back and try the other menu items!
Stopped in during a family trip and we were TAKEN CARE OF, TO THE MAX!!! Quick seating, quick appetizers, good drinks, good music, clean bathrooms, and the food was Great!!! Definitely recommend! Muchas Gracias a Stephanie y el equipo!

10 out of 10! Hands down to this unique and delicious Puerto Rican restaurant 🇵🇷 Food was beyond delicious. Every dish has an authentic flavor. We enjoyed the Mofongo with Pernil, El Plato Navideño, delicious empanadillas, and cold Medallas (beer) 😋 The atmosphere was fire 🔥 very clean, nice decor and salsa music playing while we enjoyed our meals. The owner, Stephanie, was very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Can't wait to visit again and try different dishes 😋
