Gomer's Midtown

Large store with a great selection of liquors, wine, bubbly and beer. A craft beer section, friendly staff and good prices. They also have great sales on a regular basis. They can also special order you if they don't stock it which is helpful.

Been to this location a number of times before. Was in there over the weekend on Saturday morning. Great experience even being as early as it was. The owner/manager is such a nice guy! We chatted briefly after I purchased a bottle. There was a younger guy who answered a couple questions first before making my purchase and also checked me out. I live in OP but am happy to drive to this location due to the great customer service I get here!

This is the best Gomers! I truly love the service provided here. Cole is my favorite he’s always helpful and always willing to go the extra mile! Kennedy knows her stuff she’s quiet organized! Celia is always knowledgeable and suggesting good choices! Devon always is uplifting and encouraging making the atmosphere peaceful and smooth. James is the BEST beer connoisseur there is, he works hard and always helping to make sure this store runs smoothly. Eric is always willing to give help and with no questions asked, helping out his team!!!!! Kristi is a fire cracker she knows her stuff! Our security is great, Randy always has your back!

Came her pre show for a concert down the street. I asked for shooters of my favorite liquor. The rude counter guy who was on his phone told me they dont have it. Then i said i guess ill get a bottle then. No help finding it. I spent 30 on a bottle when i wanted a shot or 2. The next guy who was ringing me up said they had pints and small sizes behind the counter. Why couldn't the first guy offer that help? Customer service sucks. I wont be back. White guy shorter hair was the unhelpful one.

They have just about everything. I was looking for liquor filled chocolates for a stocking stuffer, but to no avail! They were nice though, and did their best to help me with what they had available and suggested a few places I might try. Just being nice goes a long way with me these days, so five stars!

This has got to be my favorite liquor store! Going into any large liquor and wine shop you know what you're getting in terms of product, and Gomer's does not disappoint in terms of variety. They have a great wine selection with all your favorites, many pre-chilled, and a generous selection of beer and liquor as well. Not to mention the store is immaculately clean. So far, so good. But what sets Gomer's apart is their incredible warmth and cheerfulness. The customer service here is bar none. With every employee whom I've asked for recommendations or for help finding a product they are all knowledgeable, eager to assist, and just downright friendly. You're made to feel welcome here and it l has brought me back again and again. There is a sense of community as many customers seem to be regulars who have established rapport with the staff and former employees can also be found perusing the shelves, which in my mind is always a good sign. They also offer deliveries and curbside pickup, which in my experience went off without a hitch. Highly recommend.

Bless this place and their wide selection of rum and fine liqueurs. Also they had shochu, which is always just a delight to find. Highly recommend a visit. Fine selection of Mexican, Jamaican, Bajan, and Demerara rums.

We honestly love this location. I can't speak for the other locations but this place has always treated my husband and I well as customers. We live in Manhattan, KS currently but I will almost always opt to make the trip up here when we need more than just a single bottle of anything because their prices are just miles better than our local stores. We've even been lucky enough to get a couple bottles of allocated whiskey over the last two years and it's great that we haven't had to jump through hoops for it. Also the staff here have always been kind and accommodating/helpful when I've been in for different items. Sometimes I have questions and they're always happy to answer the best they can and even make suggestions. I wish we didn't live so far, but I'll still choose this store more times than not. We just save up our shopping list and try to knock it all out at once.
