Gomer's Midtown

One of the best general selections of alcohol in the city. If you're looking for specialty harder to find craft beers, try another spot that caters specifically to beer, but they have a good variety of beers and possibly the one you're looking for. Also, they have a good selection of liquors and wines. Pretty centrally located with a small but sufficient parking lot.

The staffing team is very friendly and helpful. large variety of different choices and different options of brands. I like the one on one service of knowledge of a typical order they will rember you and your business. I like the idea of having a local store who deals with people who are friendly buyers.

Our experience was poor, at best. We expected the employees to be helpful, however, they were not. we were treated like criminals trying to steal something as opposed to customers shopping. I'm glad that a new liquor store opened by my house. (I don't want to sound like I am advertising for Plaza Liquors, but they are a great store).

Really nice collection of alcohol - wines, beer and hard liquor. The staff is really helpful and helps you choose what you want. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but my friend wanted a very specific kind of wine, and the gentleman who was helping me out was more than helpful! The location is easy to find and there is enough parking. Also, this is unlike a lot of other establishments that i have been to in Kansas city, where owners can give you shifty glances because of how you look.( I'm a 25 year old brown dude). This place was the exception to the rule though ... Really nice staff and really nice experience. 10/ 10 would go again!

This is an awesome packaging store in Kansas City!! I was visiting a friend and I loved visiting this place. Everyday I stopped and picked up something tasty. They had a great selection much of stuff that I can't get back east so Gomers was a real treat. Plus, the staff was awesome, and very observant of those suspected of having sticky fingers. 🤣 They certainly had some stories to share. I look forward to my next KC visit and stopping by Gomers. I cannot believe how cheap everything here is! The staff is so nice and the prices are so reasonable. I will definitely be back, even if it's for a non-alcoholic drink their prices are unbeatable.

I seriously come here for beer usually finding a brand or type to try. Today, I found one of my top, all-time beers: Galactic Cowboy Nitro Imperial Stout from Left Hand Brewing Co. I love this beer. And it's a periodic pleasure. I think the brewers loosely associated the name of this beer with the Manga series from the 90's: COWBOY BEBOP. So smooth but with a subtle kick.

Will go out of my way to come to Gomer's, especially midtown is my favorite everyone has always been so nice & helpful, It's always clean & organized. Fynelle's customer service is top tier. Love the diversity at this location, everyone is so kind
