THEY HAVE THE BEST BRANDS!!! JUST KEEP ROLLING OUT THOSE BLUE BINS AND I'LL KEEP COMING💕 THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS, and PROFESSIONAL! The store is very clean and when it's not a staff person quickly attends to it💕

Worst customer service at any goodwill I've ever been in. Also had only 1 cashier with 15 people in line. 20 other employees just standing around. Was rude when I asked could they get someone else to help check out customers. Will never go back, and tell everyone I know how bad customer service is there. Austin peay location. Memphis Tn.. My wife and I came to this store 2-3 times a week, never again until you reach employees a thing called customer service. I have been in sales 30 yrs and pride myself with customer service . Hire people without attitudes

The employees were all SO nice. My daughter and I encountered an employee before we even went inside. She was leaving for the day and greeted us as we walked in and her out. She was so friendly. My daughter wanted some "vintage" t-shirts and has been asking to go. The lady at the register was super nice and told me next time to double check what color tag it was for the week because none of the things I got were that color (it is my fault. I didn't know or read the sign st the entrance, haven't been to a Goodwill in years). The prices were a little steep for some items. The color tag for the week makes them 50% off, but most of the shirts didn't have that color tag anyway. We ended up getting like 7 shirts, 1 pair of jeans, 2 sweatpants, a Christmas decoration countdown sign, a cute little room plaque, and a roll around metal cart for our hair stuff and spent $60 bucks. Not bad, but most shirts were $6-$7. A few were $2. Some of the housewares and miscellaneous stuff were a little pricey. We didn't get a chance to check out the bins. But we will definitely try and make this a monthly trip, especially with how nice the ladies were - that makes all the difference in where we like to go. I work in a dental office, and people HATE the dentist. I try to make it a fun experience, so at least coming isn't all bad! I really appreciate good vibes in places!

I am an avid Goodwill shopper I shop at Goodwill's all over the United States. It is my hobby, my joy. This is the first Goodwill (6899 Stage Rd.) In Memphis, that I have come to that the manager JaVale was her name and she was rude and refused to honor the prices on the merchandise that an employee in the blue vest put on the merchandise. She was very rude as we were talking to her about the merchandise. She just kept saying, have a good night, trying to rush us out of the store loudly embarrassingly in front of all of the other staff that was there I would not have made a review if it wasn't for the fact that she is the manager the face of this location. This is the first Goodwill, where I have had this horrible experience if I was not a lover of the Goodwill, the mission and the prices she would have caused me to never shop at another Goodwill. To let you know how much I love the Goodwill I spent over $200 in New Orleans goodwill on my way home from a cruise before coming to this Memphis location on the same day. I started to go to the Salvation Army but I love the Goodwill. I also hope she does not retaliate on the employee because all they did was help me find the prices that fell off on the bin. I would truly hate if she was my manager with such a nasty attitude. I thought you should know...

honestly I've given this location a few tries because other people have talked highly about this location, the selection may be good but the employees are extremely rude every time without fail, I get if the store is busy and you just want to get the line out but if im buying $70 worth of stuff i dont expect the cashier to tell me "have a good day" 6 times in 60 seconds because I'm "taking too long to get my stuff in the cart". or people on the floor yelling "excuse me" when they are trying to get past me but my back is turned. never coming here again

Dirty store. Employees are not willing to help paying customers. Also store smells like musk and sweat. Employees need to do a better job of tagging clothes prior to putting them out so customers are not inconvenienced. Very unsatisfied

Product available depends on the donations. I have always found a good deal. Today I found 4 pairs or shoes that were brand new. Sundays they always run a special with different colored tags. I was looking for clubs for middle school golf. I typically don't go for anything specific. They are usually priced better than other donation driven shops.

10/25/25 approximately 10:35 am. Tried to donate easily $500 worth of items and dude helped me with half of it then walked away. When I asked for help he looked at me and kept walking away. Someone else half heartedly stood next to my truck while I was still unloading the contents from inside the truck and I said “why am I doing all the work here?” And he just mumbled something about how he was doing his job (by standing there watching me do the work) and didn’t lift a finger. Also, they refused good working tools because they were in used condition. Fine, your loss. Here’s the deal, I know working at Goodwill isn’t a glamorous job. However, it’s a businesses responsibility to grow their staff, not in numbers, but in character and work ethic. If these young men don’t learn how to operate in the marketplace, they’re gonna suffer for the rest of their lives. I won’t be back!

Dirty and not as organized as other establishments. Bigger location than other locations.
