I love the Stage Rd Goodwill. I get 95% of my white clothes there. I'm always looking for great solid white clothes and Goodwill never fails to have what I'm looking for.

(Review of the bins side) I have been going to this location for five years at least once a week and there has been a definite change in the worst direction here. Had an employee come to me and say I could not buy a laptop that I found in one their bins, I’m assuming because they realize they messed up and could make more money on their web, worst experience I’ve had in a while and sadly not the only one at this location. They do one rotation an hour at their bins side, fill the bins barely and are surprised when people are done in five minutes. They barely put clothes out and sometimes none which is wild because 70 percent of their audience wants cloths and not baby toys that are wet and disgusting or lead painted ceramics. Save some time, go to the hernando bins thirty minutes away, you’ll thank me later. This location hates making money or is just extremely poorly managed, I don’t understand why someone would take something from me and say they can’t sell it and also not giving a reason. The check out clerks are always very nice. This store surely need new management. If they want to make money, maybe sell the items you get to you, you know, donated for free, and don’t create terrible shopping experiences. Never going back

I brought in 4 computers in great or decent shape with great working parts except for 1 CD/DVD RW drive. The person working obviously didn't know anything about computers. Power supplies still working great, CD RW drives that work, floppy disk drives that work with connectors, keyboards in great shape and more. Metal cases mostly but they said that they will through the plastic cases in the trash. If you know anything about computers then they would be great to refurbish and not through in the trash. Goodwill at 1 time was great to donate and get back a reciept for tax reductions but they seem to not give receipts anymore or have decent employees. I'll sell my next couple computers on Ebay then

LaJune at the Goodwill Store on Stage Road in Memphis TN does an excellent job of displaying and making sure that the space is clean. She has a real eye for design & decor. I have purchased many an items from her end caps that I probably wouldn't have normally. Her displays sold me. She's also always nice and pleasant. Gwendolyn James also always has a smile and is professional and helpful.

I come to this Goodwill (and others) often and typically spend a decent amount as I use all thrifted goods for everyday use at home and at my job. Today I went in and spent about 2 hours browsing. I found a candle that didn’t have a tag. I waited in line and told the lady (6/29/26 @ 1:30 pm- only cashier open) immediately: “I can’t sell it” and puts it under the counter. I asked if anyone can price it. She said it’s a 48 hr turnaround. I said oh ok can someone call me then? She laughed at this and said no we don’t do holds. I asked her why that was funny- she went on to just say that this was what she’s supposed to say. Ok cool- I get following policy- fine- it’s the laughing and being so fast to say nope can’t sell it. It’s really ridiculous that nobody can give me a price on a used old candle- and more ridiculous to expect me to just come back in 48 hrs and hope to find a used needle in a haystack with hope that it’s been priced. Nope I’m good- I just left my things that probably equaled about $60. Not a huge amount, sure, but add that up to weekly and it does add up. It’s not about the candle- it’s about the extra effort it takes to be unhelpful and dismissive while allegedly following a very inconvenient and ridiculous policy. Also, that $800 secretary desk that is covered in scratched and the drawers creak are uneven- good luck with that. What a joke. Please get over yourselves on all levels. Not that any of you care, I’m sure, but I’ll never be back.

I love goodwill and was so excited when I saw their sign advertising 50% off on Sundays. Just know it's not accurate. They only do certain color tags all week and no special sale on Sunday and even though it's advertised they don't honor it. TAKE IT OFF THE BILLBOARD OR RUN THE SALE. Those are the only logical options here. Also if you ran the sale you'd see your profits rise and space clear for more donations every week. People want to help save things from landfills but not at nearly retail for some of this stuff. You are not a mall. You are not a target. You are a THRIFT store. Remember your mission and stop trying to be greedy but at the very list, fix your billboard. It's freaking digital it shouldn't be that complicated.

Why does this location pull the color of the week, take it to the back, and RETAG it. You can go at the beginning of the week and NONE of the color of the week is to be found. VERY disappointing and that’s why I’ve been going to the collierville location!! DO BETTER. Also, why are this store in particulars prices SO HIGH. You get this stuff for free!

My experience at the donation drop-off was deeply disappointing due to the behavior of the staff member working there. Her remarks, attitude, and behavior was shockingly rude—one of the most unpleasant encounters I've had in a long time. Because of this, I no longer feel comfortable donating at this location. I can not stop thinking about how rude she was! Unbelievable!

My homeless niece was just denied a free blanket. Unlike The Salvation army this place wants profit from your donations, but can't help a homeless woman in need. She almost frozed outside last night.
