Grand Slam Liquor & Convenience

I've been doing business with you for years since the early 90s and buy cigars quite frequently from you. I don't drink much but when I do, I get my buddies who buy liquor and I'll grab myself a few beers. Well today I am very upset that I spent good money with you and you're way downtown kcmo and we get home in shawnee ks and 3 out of 6 of the bud platinum 6-pak bottles had already been drunk out of, and then to top it all off, the cigars were dry and stale! By the way, never got a receipt either... needless to say I don't think me pals will do business with you in the future. There are great places everywhere now, just a shame we have to give up our kc proud tradition of buying from you guys... 😕😠

It looks like a scetchy gas station on the outside but on the inside it's actually pretty nice. They have a good selection of food, drinks, and other things you might need. Getting in and out of the parking lot though is not always easy. And the gas prices are usually pretty average if not a little bit higher.

For a complete 1st 2nd and 3rd act show, come on a weekend night. A zoo. How these folks here remain nice at the registsrs I wil never know. Sub sandwiches for $5 or so, are awesome. (Just add hella mayo and its fine) Large selection of stuff is right. Convenience location at it's best.

Man went down there when inside pay $20 in gas with my credit card was outside pumping gas 3 minutes later they charge my card $105.75 and going to tell me since I pay with my credit card in the inside they automatically take money off my card to cover the $20 I told him I use this car down here everyday for gas they never did nothing like this so now you telling me I have to wait 3 to 5 business days for them to put the money on my card that they took off that they never was authorized to take they always doing this so y'all need to start watching your cards went in the next morning he tells me that it was a piggyback charge but you stated that I did not purchase anything for $105 so you telling me I still have to pay you $105 of my money for something that I did not purchase just because you don't want to lose an inventory so how is that fair so if someone come in your store and still $105 not even that a bag of chips You're calling the police and reporting theft so this isn't the same you took from me you see that I did not make no purchase for $105 but you still on assisting that you're not going to give me my cash but then tell me we have to split it down the middle for something that I didn't even purchase and then turn around and offer me a $80 gift card that I have to only purchase items through the gas station so you're winning how are you losing I'm losing but then you tell me to take down a review Why I'll take it down when you give me my $105 I have video and I have proof I know you have video you stating that you don't want your business to be on backlash but I talk to you several times and you still didn't tell me that you was going to give me my money how am I in fault because he repeatedly let my son tap the machine without verifying my son that the transaction went through until he finally gave my son the receipt That's just like me if I keep tapping it it's not going through I'm going to tap it again until you tell me that the transaction finally went through only thing I want is $105 that's it that's all

Grand Slam is the best! They have everything you could possibly need and always a helpful team member to assist. I highly recommend this business.

Has all the normal goods a standard gas station has and the workers are friendly and love banter. I pulled in today and saw the owner helping out a customer with a Kia that wouldn't start. Now that's what I call A1 service!

We went through grand slam for our liquor at our wedding and had the best experience. I think we could possibly have had real quick story 10 minutes before the ceremony started the gator at the venue had mold in the lines. We had no tap no way to get any kind of tap Called grand slam. They drove 40 minutes out of the way just to deliver a tap so that we didn’t have to waste a keg because of the venue’s fault and it was at no charge or anything. They are amazing. I would definitely use them again.

They have a terrific selection of grab n go sandwiches and snacks that varies a bit week to week. Staff is friendly and store is always stocked, tidy and clean.
