Some of their drinks are fine, but after waiting over an hour for one drink and a bubble waffle on a weeknight (and being given a drink that had already melted together and warmed to room temperature, along with no apology or response to my observation that the drink was warm), I can't possibly recommend coming here.
Good bubble tea here! Also kindly played host to a vtuber cupsleeve fan event during Sakura-Con. Free parking on weekends too
Bubble teas, custard, waffles. All delicious!! Lots of seating. Seemed a little pricey. Across from children's area.
Attended a Stray Kids cup sleeve event here and they were super busy but the staff was so lovely and kind and the drinks and waffles are excellent!
I tried them for the first time, the bubble waffle was good. I figured it would be cold since I ordered doordash. But 30 seconds in the microwave and it's good. My only suggestion would be that they get clamshells for the takeaway orders. Otherwise tea was tasty and the waffle was tasty.

Man, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I just started my new job, and a coworker told me to check out this bubble tea spot because it’s supposed to be good. So I go in, and since I wasn’t familiar with the menu, I took a little extra time trying to figure out what to order. While I’m standing there, the girl behind the counter starts acting all smug, and then out of nowhere, she just starts laughing at me. She laughed so hard she bent over like she was about to fall under the table. I didn’t even say anything to her—I was just looking at the menu. It was humiliating and hurtful. Honestly, I felt like it was because I’m not white. The vibe was off, and it felt real disrespectful. If you’re not white, I’d stay far away from this place because they’ll probably treat you the same way.
Decent bubble teas, consistent quality. But the noteworthy thing is their bubble waffles. Crunchy and light - they get them right!
I’ve been to many Happy Lemon locations in different states, but Seattle is always the best. I don’t know if it’s something with the water or the temperature here, but their bubble waffles always come out just right, crispy, fluffy, never soggy or burnt like some other locations. One thing you should always do: add the salt cheese dip with the waffles. It’s basically the peanut butter and jelly combo of Happy Lemon. Sweet, salty, creamy, and so addictive.
